    Morning all

Boddy - you have mail (thank you so much xx) xx

It's hospice morning for me but so far I've put a load in the washing machine and put a pork casserole in the slow cooker ready for dinner tonight. We had a fabulous nights sleep as got a new mattress yesterday. Our old was should have been replaced 2 years ago - it was so uncomfortable. Hence, good nights sleep meant I ready for action this morning - long may it last! I've also taken stripes on a short walk but she's limping again! Poor pooch.

    Decluttered a bacon sandwich.

    See you all later xx

  • I know I'm too late to join for the week but could I tag along for the ride?

My downstairs is not too bad but it will be good to get in the porch so I will do that later when i'm back from school. I think it is a good idea to write a list. I need to change my ways in all areas of my life not least my housework.

Is the idea of fly lady to do the jobs very quickly?

    Welcome Definately, Maybe..
Its not too late to join in
The list is just a guide and more of a visual encouragement to spur you on-
Sadly I get great pleasure marking things off the list.
Just try for level one and see how you go

Mentally I find this system works as when I have my 'me' time I don't feel guilty about the outstanding chores which could easily become all consuming.

As the weeks, months, years roll on you will find you manage to do this jobs quicker and can then progress to the other levels
Just pace yourself and enjoy it- oh and don't forget to make time to come back on here and tell us how its going:D

    Happy flying
    oh and a welcome tree!

ETA - removed tree as pretty as it is Def Maybe doesn't need two hehe

    Anyhows,

This morning I have rung the pet store and she is refunding me in full and was most apologetic (as she should be), I was seriously spitting feathers last night.
Also had the lady in the waiting list dept ring me to see how the pre assessment went and confirm I am on the theatre list for next week.. how nice is that :T
Currently debating whether to put washing outside or in the dryer as it is very windy here and I don't fancy running across the garden after escaping undies. :rotfl:

Ok, time i got dressed, and made a move i think.. have a good day all..

    Mornin' all!

    Hope everyone is ok today.
Meeting a friend for lunch after work today, really looking forwards to catching up.
Pigpen - what about adding cleaning cooker hood/extractor fan filters. Thought about mine yesterday, I haven't done it for ages.

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining area
    ALL DONE

Tuesday ~ Living room, Hallway and Porch!
    Level One
Find the floor!! Even under the shoe and coat racks!
    Vacuum/Sweep/Mop
    Level Two
Organise the CD's/DVD's/VHS tapes.. fling the ones that don't work and make sure they are in the correct boxes! Are there any that can be rehomed?
    Vacuum and wipe sofas
Clean curtain tracks so they run smoothly (furniture polish on them after wiping is wonderful!)
    Level Three
Sort coats and shoes, wash any that are in need and take dry clean ones to the cleaner if needed!
    Dust and deweb
Wipe radiator and defluff behind (sock on a stick!!)
Have a check to see if you are still with the cheapest supplier for your utilities.. if we can save a few quid over the winter on our fuel then we should!

    Love to all....
