Morning campers. I was up early but I have been playing around on Word and sort of ironing..lol Am off to feed the birds in a minute, they are sitting on the bushes outside complaining I think. The doves are getting sneaky now, one of them has even got as far as sitting on the patio and tapping the outside french door when it wants feeding or we aren't quick enough to go out there with their food.
The garden is looking a bit bedraggled, all the leaves are coming off the tree at the bottom of the garden and I have lots of golden coloured leaves on the lawn. DH is going out there at the weekend, if the weather isn't too bad, and vac the leaves up. I actually think he wants to use his new toy..lol
Mustn't get caught up on FB today, unlike yesterday. I think I was on it for nearly all of the day.. Am awaiting a parcel from a couple of people with some lovely yankee candles, some of them are rare and USA ones that I have ordered from Ebay. Shhhh don't tell DH, he'll kill me..:rotfl:
Seafarers-wife don’t beat yourself up if you don’t do all three levels every day hon.. You will be so tired you won’t be able to benefit from it.
Piggers those piccies of Squeak are absolutely gorgeous :)She’s a lovely bonny lass
Dusty did I see write Christmas cards on your list for November, eeeks too early for me to even think of Christmas cards..lol. Although I suppose I should really as I have a few to go overseas.. :)Hope you are feeling better today honey. TOM arrived rather early for me, although I had had a sort of one a week before for a couple of days, and then the full blown one arrived at the weekend a whole week early!! Not sure what is happening to my body..although it might be the increase in my meds causing it.
MancMillyMolly welcome to the madhouse group..
Shysarah aww I must have missed a post where you mentioned going into hospital, hope it’s for nothing serious. Hugs sweetie
Msgnomey hugs sweetie, I hope you are pacing yourself and not going too mad. You are recovering and should be resting.
Mumto5 sorry about your car keys, I bet that as soon as you order some new ones the old ones will magically turn up…
Sockdrawer – oooh the use of the other garden sounds very daunting, but I reakon you could knock it into shape. Just imagine the joy you will get from all the produce from there
Macpep1 omg that must have been so worrying about your daughter yesterday. Stupid teacher, and I agree she should have known by now if the class is only small. But thankfully everything turned out okay in the end.
x-raphael-x wow what fantastic news, good luck for the 17th
Mollinagirl oooh how exciting to get an allotment after such a long wait, I bet you are so excited J Now we expect to see pics of your fruits of labour next year
Maxonian hope you are feeling better today, and that you rested instead of trying to do too much flying yesterday.
Hex OMG honey, that must have been a fright for you. But thankfully DS2 is okay and the car missed him. How’s the car, hopefully it isn’t anything serious and you are okay to drive it. I never go out without my RAC card, it’s tucked in my purse at all times. I learnt the hard way, thankfully my friend had her RAC card with her so we used hers. But since then I have carried mine at all times, and have had good use of them when I had my old red car a few years ago.
Serena hope you are feeling better today – hugs.:)
Hugs to Toots, LL and Diva, and more spoons for LW.

I know I'm too late to join for the week but could I tag along for the ride?
My downstairs is not too bad but it will be good to get in the porch so I will do that later when i'm back from school. I think it is a good idea to write a list. I need to change my ways in all areas of my life not least my housework.
Is the idea of fly lady to do the jobs very quickly?0 -

Sock on a stick - genius! I usually use my hoover for dewebbing the ceiling as don't have a duster on a stick, so behind the radiators usually gets ignored. Now I just need to find a stick...So, there are these boys,
They kinda stole my heart,
They call me Mummy

My updated list, again my aim is to have it ALL done by the end of this week. I have a wedding to go to in a couple of weeks and my usual style is running round at silly o'clock the night before, leaving the house in a mess and forgetting something so i HAVE to do all the lists so that next week I can slowly start to gather my clothes and things that I need with me so that im not ashamed to have my neighbour watch my cat, and also I have a friend staying with me just before and after the wedding so I have to sort out the spare room and then I have my best friend coming to stay with her hubby mid december so if its all done in the next 2 weeks then its just maintenance after that.

Good Morning everyone.
Gorgeous day so far here. We had our first autumn storm here last night. Brrrrr. Can't believe it was getting dark by 3.00!
Misshiggarty That's a very good point, re security of tenure. I don't think I would mind putting in the work, but I would certainly resent the ££s I'll definitely bear it in mind. We do know the guy very well, and he's no plans for moving, but who knows what the future will bring.
Mollina Girl Coincidence indeed. Really exciting though!! Congratulations
Serena Sparkleworld and Mumonamission Thank you so much for the advice. I think I'll measure out plots for myself, then I can tackle it a bit at a time- flylady way!!! I'm so excited. It gives me the ability to grow some cutting flowers etc, which I've always wanted to do, as well as increasing the veg etc I can grow. We planted an asparagus bed last year, (our first year there) and it sent up all these lovely little shoots (which we didn't eat because it was the first year!) Off to google broad beans
shysarah Really pleased the pre-op went well.
msgnomey Rest lassie, ye dinnae want a relapse (as my dad would say)

New rule for myself this week of not adding to my list until the bits on it are done. I've got the fence guy coming to quote soon so I'll try to get my dailies done first. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
