o2 simplicity

My OH bought me a PAYG Iphone last xmas so when my contract on my old phone was up in Nov i phoned O2 a few weeks ago to cancel my contract.

I told them i was going PAYG as i have the phone i wanted. O2 convinced my to choose the £15 simplicity deal where i get:
free 02 to 02 calls
unlimited texts
300 mins any network
AND internet usage but after i have exceeded the limit im charged £1 every day ( i think it was upto 1 gig)

Ive just checked how thats been going and ive already run up a lot on internet usage- so on top of my £15 i have to pay £20. Now this was my line rental for my last fone and could have an iphone for this amount.


ps. just to add- i constantly check fb throughout the day and google random things so this is where the cost is coming from
Any suggestions on how i can lower my internet cost?

No, dont think I am. is this a lot-500MB UK Data and Unlimited Wi-Fi?

my daughters on the £25 tariff , don't think she gets near 500mb even with some facebooking

unlimited wifi is anywhere you can get a btopenzone signal or an open wifi

Sounds like it, phone up just now (they're open until 9pm) and ask to get moved onto an iPhone Simplicity tariff and for it to come into effect for tomorrow (midnight tonight) so you can take advantage of it straight away.
