Yes :) Lazy morning but getting more active now! Cleaned my desk and can actually see the surface now

Will be going out soon to do two mystery shops which will earn me £21 and then dinner is bought and waiting to be cooked.

All in all, a good Saturday I think :)

Oh dear I am going to have a horribly non-MSE day today....

I got the tube to work and I bought lunch in the shop downstrais (that's just for starters)

My best friend from home (N. Ireland) is over for the weekend for his birthday and has planned this big night out. First we are going out for dinner  then we are going to a comedy club (£15)  then we are going out clubbing afterwards!!!

I am expecting to spend around £60 which is a LOT.

But he comes over so rarely and I don't want to miss out. I've traded in OH's old phone and am selling loads of stuff on ebay so hopefully will mop up the bill and a bit of the guilt!

I am *so* excited though - I haven't been on a big night out in aaaages!

I hope there wasn't too much damaged Sassers! Well done for heading off to repair it yourself though! I can think of a lot of people who would be ringing a plumber straight away!

Hopefully thats your stress for the weekend and you can have a stress free sunday :)

I don't feel bad about having the odd big night now as at least I'm not doing it all the time these days. Ebay is a fabulous guilt-reliever- I agree!

    Hi All,

Trying to be a super good DFW bunny today. Am staying in at home today as have a monster cold and can only seem to do things in very small stints!

Have done two lots of laundry so far, including all the bed linen. And one round of washing up. Planning on a few other bits of housework.

Sold some of my stock on ebay so thats £6 in the kitty. Am then going to decorate my frames from wilko with my salt dough bits that I made, so that will be a xmas pressie taken care of.

Might also get started on making some scented pomanders this weekend too, got my lemons, christmas ribbon and cloves. Just need to pick a dvd and get started :)

    Hope everyone has a productive/relaxing/money making/saving day

Pomanders sound interesting CAFC girl... you'll have to show us a pic when you're finished. I think I'm going to have to find a craft of some sort to top up my eBay sales.

  • Had a definite no spend morning - sat in Casualty and having a CAT scan. Thankfully nothing amiss that antibiotics can't sort out in a few days.

Am spending the afternoon gently - toddler happily playing whilst I doze and potter about. Filing paper, doing some washing, applying for mystery shops - not exotic but hey a bit useful.

Get well wishes to all those with colds!
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

I spent the aftenoon filling in the spread sheet for my bank charge / excess overdraft interest which amounts to £2000 / £200 ish, the claim to HSBC is going off on Monday.

I did spent about £75 in Sainsbury's but I now have almost enough to last to pay day (save bread and milk) it was also much closer than going to Morrisons which is of course cheaper.
