new central heating with small leak

Hi all, I have a newly installed central heating system and one of the valves has a small leak, the installer has tightened the nut that was leaking and this has stopped most of the leak but it still is leaking slightly, probably just a drop over a 24 hour period and only when the system is off. The installer is saying that it is a harmless leak that will do no harm but my wife and I are worried that it will cause rust and may get worse. Can anyone let us know if we are worrying unduly and if not what we can do to sort the problem out?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Most small leaks do stop but the installer is a bit idle not fixing it properly. If you have a combi the pressure will drop over time. keep an eye on it for a week and call the installer back if it is still leaking. it may need the system draining to fix the leak properly. (hence his quick fix!)0

Get him back to replace the valve. Don't take no for an answer. Every thing is under warranty.
Shouldn't take more that 30 mins. If a combi or system boiler he wont even have to drain down the system fully to do it.0
