Lack of description, I would look at yours & bid on the ones that had more information, Mainly
because i am too lazy to want to email sellers & ask for info they could have put.

Are they like new, Well worn? Size 10 but leg length?

The main picture makes them look discoloured because of the lights.

I take lots of pictures and spend ages choosing the right one, Try and take pictures in daylight rather than
    artificial lights.

Agree with the post above music CDs, 9 music CDs dont think many people will use that as a search term.

Singer, Song, Group would help on that auction.

  • Ok - regarding the trousers here how I would see it as a buyer. Amaranta trousers - do you mean Amaranto? If so then that is an old Matalan branding (suggesting an old style shape). I could go to the store and get them new (and in a current cut/style) for £12.
You get 12 free pics in clothing so make use of them - front laid flat to show shape, back laid flat, close up of fabric (and/or details such as pockets etc), inside showing the label. Also extra measurements eg waist, inside leg, crotch to waist. Mention the condition and style (straight leg, boot cut, wide leg etc) and any defects.
Without sounding harsh if these were mine they would be relegated to the charity bag - sorry.

Just to add - individual CDs will be bought by people buying retail, who pay miles better than dealers buying job lots. A little bit of extra effort will pay huge dividends if you get the right item at the right time.

  • Oh - I almost forgot - add the fabric details and cleaning instructions.

Perhaps fabric content. description / photo of back view, inside leg measurement, machine wash / dry clean......?

If you feel they are worth more than 99p, list them at a higher price!
Personally I don't see the point listing for such a low price, I'd rather give items to a charity shop. such alot of effort for little back!

Have to agree with all of the above.

Your postage costs seem ever so high.

If a dressing gown has iron marks, definitely for the charity shop, not £8 on ebay.

Just had a look at your items, the pictures are very hard to view properly, and I dislike having to turn my head to have a look at your kimono.

Could you alter the photos, so they are more clear? And you do need to weigh your items and put correct postage.

On the kimono, are the black marks visible on the outside of the fabric?
  • Don't worry about postage costs -- these peeps prefer you to lose a quid. Sensible people look at total cost. Those who whine about postage costs are not worth selling to.

You are selling obscure stuff that has no proper search terms in it. Think about how you word your titles. Be more descriptive, use every letter space.

    .

If postage is too high though you put people off. The smaller your potential pool of buyers is the less you will get for an item.

It is logical to maximise your potential field of buyers, not decrease it and any seller that does not understand how important the buyer is in all this will not succeed on ebay.

Postage will be exact (despite what I have entered)

Buyers will want to know postage costs before bidding, otherwise by bidding they will be agreeing to pay an unknown amount. You need to either work out postage costs or estimate and cover the difference yourself.
