  • I present to you the only joke my grandma can ever remember (and she often gets it wrong;) ;);) )
A man walks into a bar with a giraffe.
They get a little sozzled and the giraffe passes out
The man goes to leave and the bartender says
"Hey you can't leave that lying there!"
    "It's not a lion mate, it's a giraffe."

In claire's accessories, they have a load of little bits reduced.

I picked up a little coloured pencil set with sharpener £1 - was £2.99
mini calculators (sweet and my dd is always pinching mine) £1 - was 2.99
    and various other bits

and if you get 4 of these £1 items you get a free pencil/make-up case worth £4!

always good AND the calculators are inm different shapes and colours and will be suitable for boys too!

Hope to find some good bargains on here!

    Great idea PAP :D

I was in Boots today and saw a nice looking present for my Grandma - until I saw the price. It was a Baileys gift set - basically a miniature Baileys, glass and some chocolates - for £10  . Sum of individual components about £3 in reality me thinks with some canny shopping. So....

2 Brandy glasses from Woolworths £5
Pack of 4 Baileys Minis £4.49 Morrisons
Chocolates - as desired but I got some inidividually wrapped after eight type chocs for £2 for a big bag.

Nice box/basket - tbc but it'll be cheap from work - I guess you could use poundland or similar.

So I've got enough to make a better pressie for my Gran, a similar one for my brother if I get some whiskey minatures, and a little Baileys left over for me :D .

    Thats about £5 each.

    Hi there

I have often used this site but unfortunatly never had anything new to add until now! (Hopefully i'm not repeating anyone!)
Was in Wilkensons today in Chatham, Kent and they had all their "Little Britain" Stationary bits reduced to clear
    A4 folders down to 30p
Various other large sized folders 30p
    Hard back note book 30p
    Pencil case 30p
    Packs of stickers 10p
    Pack of 5 erasers 10p
    Guess its across all stores?
Might be handy for stocking fillers for the slightly older child!
    Good luck...
