Rawnsley Estate Cabernet (750ml)
This is surrently 4.99 per bottle ie half price.
So if i buy 6 x 4.99 = £29.94
then i get discount of 25% of (6 x 9.99) = 14.99
does this mean i get 6 bottles for £14.95 ie 2.49 per bottle.
please someone confirm this.

Don't think so. You would get 25% off current price £29.94 - ie £7.49 = £3.74 ish a bottle.0

I found the best buy to be the wines that are £7.99 per bottle and on offer at 2 for £10 as the 25% discount comes off the £7.99 and then the discount for the 2 for £10 bit comes off!! That gives you 6 bottles of wine for £18!!!!!! (instead of £47.94)

so if i but 6 btles in the 2 for £10 wine and 8 mini btles 4 for £5
total spend = £40 less discount of £16.56
worked out as follows 6 @ 7.99 and 8 @2.29 = 66.26 x 25% = £16.56
therefor 6 bottles and 8 minis for £23.44
am geting this right now.0 -
Bought the finest argentinian red shiraz yesterday, got 6 for pennies over £18 BUT its a bit rough (what i'd call 2 glass wine, the first glass a bit rough, by the second you don't notice!!!!). If i'd have paid the £7.99 full price and bought a few I think I would be taking the others back, not as nice as Jacobs creek, Hardys Stamp etc but for £3 passable.;)0

Golfer, my sums agree with yours, so hopefully we can both do sums now.0

Haven't checked your maths, but they do take the 25% discount off the full price of the bottles, and also deduct the 2 for £10/4 for £5 discount. You have to buy a minimum of 6 bottles (mini or full size) in total for the discount(s) to kick in (but the 6 could be 4 minis and 2 full size), and obviously the minis have to be bought in multiples of 4 and the full size bottles in multiples of 2.0 -
Just bought
4 x Jacobs creek Shiraz 187ml priced £2.29
4 x Jacobs creek chardonnay 187ml priced £2.29
Total £18.32
minus 4 for a fiver discount £8.32
minus 25% off six or more discount £4.58
Final total £5.42 or just under 68p each
Equivalent to a full bottle for £2.71
Pleased with that!0 -

8 bottles are £10 then 25% discount is £7.50
Each bottle is 94p
or are they taking the 25% off first then the £8.32 for the multi buy?
