As an added bonus, Tesco still have a few wines on the 2 for £10 offer - and the 25% comes off the full price. I have just bought 6 bottles of Argentinian wine at £7.99 each and its taken off £17.94 for the 2 for £10 deal and then another £11.99 for the 25% off nearly £48 ! So, WELL under £20 for the 6 bottles.

Tried this and it worked - took money off for the 2 for £10 and then an additional 25% off the original price so...6 bottles of wine which were originally £7.99 each for just £18 total - RESULT!!!

I have done the same, in my tesco there were 2 whites in the 2 for £10 - a sauvignon blanc and a chardonnay vignonier(sp?). Also a grenache rose and a couple of reds, one of which was Argentinian shiraz. I think they were all from the Tesco finest range. By the way, just a reminder that the 25% comes off any amount of bottles 6 or over, it does not have to be in multiples of 6.

I got 6 bottles earlier for £13 they were only £3 bottles but I am trying to stock up for a party next year so bargain.gonna go back tomorrow and get some of the 2 for £10 so I have a mixed variety
  • Just tried to purchase a case of wine at Tesco online. The 25% wasn't deducted at the checkout and when I called customer service was told that the price shown includes the 25% discount. This just makes it the same price it is sold regularly at Asda. Another wine I have bought before is 'out of stock and I suspect it will remain unavailable until after the promotion period. I tried to e-mail a complaint but it wouldn't 'send' unless I provided a mobile number - which I wasn't prepared to do. Not great customer service is it?

Would this also count on cheapo stuff such as bucks fizz or lambrini do you think?
Just that my boys have a few "bring a bottle for the Christmas fair" days coming up and it's going to be pricey to buy a decent bottle of wine each time... if I could mix in a few bottles of plonk too it would bring the cost down! :)
  • Does this work on the mini bottles of wine too? Wanting to get some for people to go in xmas hampers and might be handy!
