Electronic hand brake help please.

I have just hired a car a Vauxhall Insignia and it has an electronic hand brake. Not a problem on the flat but how do you perform a hill start? I do not want to roll back on to anyone! There is no manual in the car and an online search is a bit vague.

    if your not sure test it so that if you roll back then you foot on the brake quick.

    I will try that then! They are supposed to be easier.

  • feet on brake and clutch release electronic handbrake keeping foot on brake pedal slowly release clutch until you find the bite foot off brake onto accelerator and drive away bit scary at first lol but youll get the hang of it
