Evans is owned by Arsadia, don't expect anything from them, They could of given the orders as a good will gesture and for good PR but will not. I for on won't buy anything from Arcadia again. Roll on Debenhams!0

I think that the security email is the standard email that gets issued when multiple orders are placed with the same card (i.e. they are implying that your card or card details have been stolen and someone is using it to place multiple orders)
I remember last years Evans glitch and it was a similar story really - lots of OOS emails - they did honour a few orders and I managed to get my sis some PJ's despatched.0 -
Had a despatched email for a scarf. I used the fiver off code and the free delivery one. Paid £4.60 via paypal.
I made another 3 orders using the nine quid code which are still at the packing stage. I imagine those will be cancelled.
I had a feeling they would honour my first order though as I actually am a new customer.Retail is the only therapy that works0 -
as stated they should just be honest about it, the items that are supposedly oos are instock for me lol was worth a shotA big thank you to all those who post on the forum and make it a worthwhile place!!!:j0

Guys - don't be bitter, so they're stating security - better than saying "you were taking the p so get lost"!!! Some we win, some we lose - so, on this occasion, we didn't get it (well, we don't think we're getting it), but we'll still be here next time for the next glitch.
Ha-ha, someone needs to remind me of what I've just typed the next time 3p dresses come on sale and I miss out!!! x0 -
Just ordered 3 pairs of socks for a whopping £1.00 including my 'free delivery' - thanks so much for posting0

The same thing happened this time last year (and the same email from Evans was sent out to customers cancelling orders) I placed several orders last year, had delivery of a few, but most were cancelled!! (yes, I was greedy, but was sent a new code to use with each order, so could not resist)
Placed 1 order this year, will see what happens!!
Well done to all of you who have had despatch emails!!0
