Well, I do call every 3 days or so. Finally got to the bottom of it today; I was told that additional investigations are carried out on approx every 10th mortgage application (is that true??) and that's what is happening here, and as one of the buyers lives in UAE it all takes even longer!
(I wouldn't be so frustrated if the incompetent, incommunicative, EAs had actually been honest with me from the outset. :mad: It's a long boring story that no-one's going to want to read, but I feel better now having had a bit more of a moan about it on here!!)0 -
We had an offer accepted on the Friday, mortgage offer on Tuesday, survey done Friday, report with all parties on the Wednesday.0
