polish person bid on my buy it now

they dont speak english,I wont post to poland,if thats what they are going to be asking,i just sent them a simple message asking them to pay,again.what do I do.I have specified uk only in my buyer requirements too.THey have sent an email to my email address with lots of exclaimation marks and question marks,i think they are trying in on,but i cant read it.they have an english shipping address,so far no polish addresses mentioned.

You post doesn't make total sense. Why did you send them a message asking them to pay again (Have they already paid once?)

As for your buyer requirements was it set to only allow bids from those countries I send to ? If that one wasn't ticked as well people can still bid.

sorry,I am convinced he is trying to scam me.
I sent the invoice,then got an email via polish ebay which could be from him or purporting to be from ebay.His address is in uk.i did tick the box you mention.I have now checkeds his feedback.

Although he has 100% positive feedback,one person says he tried to scam them,it was investigated and they won,another says he didnt pay or collect.He seems to have bought from british sellers.,eg tyres.The second request is very politely worded so that he will know I am not a mug,and if he doesnt understand the invoice,i said he needs to get it translated. I think he does speak english.I will pursue him as a non payer,if he doesnt pay

When you sent the invoice did it show a UK or a Polish address?

That's OK then as you have a UK buyer according to the invoice, that's all that matters.

You've sent the invoice, now just leave it. If on day 4 you have not received payment just open an NPB and close it 4 days later.

If you do get payment then it goes tracked to the UK addtess that will be shown on the paypal notification page when you check paypal.

If buyer requests that you send it elsewhere then refuse, he is a UK bidder and he can only pay now with a UK address.

- the last time I sold something to a Polish buyer, I took it to him direct to his house ( I had charged £20 shipping anyway ),got cash and had him sign the invoice ( made a day out of it actually - took my partner and visited the City )

I've sold a number of items to Polish people living in the UK and so far all has gone well. They are usually highly reliable, turn up to collect on time, and usually want to pay cash (in full - no trying to haggle for discounts).

Where the language barrier has been a problem, I have asked a Polish neighbour to translate a brief message.

With respect,the fact he is polish is really not a problem.I resent that suggestion.Where did I say I have a problem with Polish people?

I have just spent time googling his name and found some very unsatisfactory comments,including another user name with exactly the same photo,where at least one comment says he sent him the item but he never paid.

He is using the language barrier to try to bamboozle,thats the problem

agreed,but he seems to be a rather well seasoned traveller,hes conned more than a few.I think he is one of these that starets ending you emails to con you,I am going to wind him up then I hope I can highlight it to ebay.He wont be getting my item whatever!
