The free £20 top up of unleaded or diesel fuel will be available for four hours each day or until stocks run out with an estimated 600 motorists expected to benefit at each location.

Hopefully they'll be giving some free fuel away in the West Midlands as Goodyear are based in Birmingham-I could do with some free fuel what with the extortionate rates I pay for diesel!0

I heard that it was also happening in Horsham on 6th November. Does anyone know which petrol station it's at? :j0

Can you imagine what the queue will be like!0

I've got my free fuel this morning and there is defo no catch! Great! Text all my mates as they are going to be doing it again tonight from 4.30 to 7pm so get down early as I had to que for a bit.
The lady on the pump told me they are going to do it this weekend in Horsham from 10am but not sure which station so you are right sporty susie. Sounds like they are doing lots of them. Shame my tank is full now otherwise I would have been back there!0 -
It's on now at the Jet garage again, I decided to drive past on my way home and the queue was just starting to form. Decided to stop and get some free petrol, especially as there were only about 10 cars in the queue, must be about a hundred behind me now (the queue disappears out if sight behind me).====0

Probs have to wait two hours to get it though!0

It's causing quite some chaos according to the traffic reports on the radio there are now tailbacks of about 4 miles (all the way to the Tyne bridge), and motorists are double queuing in the running lane of the road trying to force their way into the queue who are waiting.
I was lucky enough to be in and out at 4pm in around 15 minutes, though by the time I drove away there was already around a half mile queue.
Traffic reports are now reporting total gridlock on all roads south out of Gateshead.====0 -
Anyone know whether they are doing this tomorrow too? If so I'll definitely be having some!0
