Do you think this is going too far?

On another forum a lady has posted for support after her husband left her and young children for someone else.

What started as support has now turned into a !!!!!fest and the lady who has been left has posted a link to the other womans facebook page for people to look at her and run her down?

Do you think this is right that a public forum is being used to run someone down someone who people know nothing about?

I dont suppose the other woman even knows she is being gawped at? Something feels abit uncomfortable about this what do you all think?

She might have gone off with someone's husband but does she deserve all this !!!!!ing from strangers? Should someone tell her or leave it be?

She'll find out soon enough methinks and then if she's any sense she'll make her FB account private! No of course it's not right but a woman with young children whose husband leaves for another woman goes through a hell of a lot of very extreme emotions and does a lot of crazy things as a result....11 years on but I remember it well
  • I agree that is going too far. Obviously the woman who's husband left her is feeling very angry but I doubt that behaving like this will help her in the long run. Not to mention the fact that it was her husband who chose to leave her for the other woman, so why isn't her anger directed at him?!
Personally I think someone should contact the site administrators and ask them to take the link to the other womans facebook page down and close the thread.

That is awful red devil, is there some sort of report function on the other forum, or could someone message the woman to let her know? At least then she has the chance to make her information private.

Those emotions could lead to a harassment charge.

her account was private but somehow the woman has got into the womans daughters account and found a pic and posted it. Im sure its not right.

I agree some of the hate should be against her husband but it seems to be against the woman. Some of the comments are really !!!!!y. cant work out whether the other woman should know or not?

I think she should. This kind of behaviour can lead to all sorts of repercussions. If you don't want to be identified send a message from a new FB account?

I totally agree and just for the record I do think it's gone too far and would hope that moderators could do something to stop it. But believe me I did things and at the time I just didn't think about consequences....my whole world had been ripped apart, getting a wrist slapping from our HR department really didn't make a huge amount of difference - I was huirting, I was gonna make sure other people hurt too. I am in no way condoning it but I can understand why she did it. But in a public forum like this one would hope that adequate controls can stop it

Way out of order and makes you wonder if maybe there was some other issues within the marriage that lead to the husband finding someone else.

hell hath no fury like a woman scorned especially now 4chan exists. what she has done is the internet equivalent or standing in the street screaming, only one party is going to come out of it looking badly and its not the mistress.
  • As she sows so shall she reap.

I think that applies to the adulterer and the cuckolded wife.
