2nd hand car missing interior parts

This seems petty but is important.:o I purchased a car having viewed it from a 2ndhand garage, the following day after purchase I noticed the rear childrens sinblinds were missing from their fixings in the windows. This had not been stated in its description that they were absent but neither did it say the car did have them ( they do come as standard with this make/model) so I expected them to be intact but had only noticed the fittings when viewing the car but had not pulled down to check if the blinds were there.
The dealer has said they were not there when they bought the car but I feel they should replace them as I was not told they were missing and really feel they are part of the fixtures. The dealer is being quite awkward about replacing them, where do I stand.

In the sun and being blinded! Did you examine the car at all?...if you missed an obvious thing like this what else have you missed?0

Yes I didnt examine every tiny detail, sometimes you presume the obvious is there, but yes the rest is fine thanks, but looking for some helpful advice really.0

Did you do a HPI check?0

Your petty detail that you missed has now become important...why? What do you want from the seller?0

If the car was isn't faulty and as described then you have no comeback I'm afraid.0

The dealer did not advertise that the car had blinds so not really his responsibility to replace them.
Try ebay or a find a car spares online for the blinds.0 -
This is important stuff, think of the safety implications of not having rear sun blinds for the children. Think of the sell on value, trying to sell a car without rear sun blinds in the current second hand car market is almost impossible.
Very much the same thing happened to me, only in my case it was the rear wheels that were missing. I didn't notice till I had got in home, although it did occur to me that the car was making a funny noise.
Like the OP I blame the dealer, it surely wasn't my responsibility to check that the all the bits were on the car before I bought it?0
