Enforceable credit card agreement

I live in scotland and just have a general query.

If any information is wrong on a credit card agreement can it be enforced.

Just pay it back if you can, did you spend the credit on the card just out of curiosity?
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

    Probably.

What is it you think is wrong and why do you feel you shouldn't repay the money you spent?

If I take some money out of my children's piggybank and they don't see me do it and can't prove it was me, have I done anything wrong?

No, I they'll let you off paying thousands just because they got your date of birth wrong or something

Nothing wrong at all. They won't be needing it any time soon so why not!? You could sure put it to better use, they'll only waste it on sweets or useless mags. Just tell them Santa had to use some of their money to buy materials to make their presents... then pop off down the pub and enjoy yourself! :D:beer:

No, it will still be enforceable.

I thought it was the duty of the person taking out the credit to ensure that their details were correct and to notify the creditor if anything is wrong or has changed.

Just wondering what the legal issues are if the OP has received their credit card and spent money knowing that some of the details are incorrect on the agreement. Would that be misrepresentation or obtaining money by deception or something?
