Thanks for starting us off!

This week I've got:
Friday - suet-crust mince and veg pie with cabbage
Saturday - chicken and squash casserole
Sunday - Cheshire cheese and roast veg tart
Monday - roast squash stuffed with veg chilli, with garlic bread
Tuesday - beef and spinach stroganoff and chips (not a usual combination, I know, but I have a strange fondness for creamy sauces with chips)
Wednesday - cheese and tomato pasta bake
Thursday - smoked mackerel and potato bake
I'm storecupboard challenging at the moment, so everything except the cream for the stroganoff is from my stores. I'll also be making a banana cake at some point, to make inroads into the mountain of frozen bananas taking up space in my freezer.

Thanks for starting!
A bit up in the air this week as my little sister (very picky eater!) is here to visit until Monday. I should also mention that I had one of the best eating weeks of my life visitng Addis Ababa for work the other week, so everything seems like a bit of a letdown!!
Friday - mushroom risotto, maybe with new potts or broccoli (which she wont eat, no cooked veg, arg!)
Saturday - out likely for something cheap in china town as we are going to a Rocky Horror Sing Along (of all the things to do when you come to london...)
Sunday - Sister has promised to make us a full japanese meal as a host gift (all forgiven!)
Monday - pasta pesto with veg left in fridge
Tuesday - veggie chili from freezer with brown rice
Wednesday - veg bolg pasta bake
Thursday - me out with friend, OH in with leftovers
Should make it through buying very little, which is good as I need to scrape together every penny for hols starting on the 12th.Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000
