  • i know a little way out but ilford central travelodge is good it has loads of cheap food nearby and its handy for the 25 bendy bus that runs from ilford to oxford street.

    also romford is a safe bet t j hughes on the corner for a cheap breakfast romford market (a real east end market) 2 mins stroll at end of street numerous pubs and takeaways nearby reached by public transport either by train from liverpool street or district or hammersmith and city lines to barking then a number five bus directly outside barking station.:j:j:j:)
  • Hi I no this is a little late to add to it but we stayed at Travel lodge tower bridge In August was a fab price fab location for Tower Hill,London Bridge,tower of London very modern hotel. but is located on a very busy road and some rooms over look the main fenchurch street train line noise could be heard from our room wasnt enough to keep us awake or wake you up and if the price was right then why not.
