New FairFX Card

We have just recieved our FairFX Euro Card

We are planning to load around £1000 onto it for our holiday in 2 weeks time.
Is there anyway i can test it to make sure it works, like load £10-20 onto it and then buy something. I don't want to load the full amount and then find when we go away that it doesn't work.

Any useful tips appreciated :D

Their Euro Card is not the best option as there is a cash withdrawal charge. Try the Anywhere card instead.

Already got the card so can't change it now. We already knew about the ATM charge, thats not a problem. It was more about using it in restaurants and shops. ;)
  • have been using these for nearly a year with no problems and FairFx inform me that the monies are all ring fenced so there is no possibility of losing your money

  • HI
My partner put the card into a halifax machine today just to check it (we go away on sunday)....it said incorrect pin  he changed the pin when we got it. Is this normal as its a euro card? Please advise me someone, panicking like mad lol
  • Oh Dear.

All may not be lost - call FairFX. They issue PINs by phone, so you may be able to get a reset PIN quickly.
  • Hi Thank you, all sorted...panic over.
