Vauxhall Meriva

Options
Seen a 55 reg 1.4 Meriva Breeze for £7700 at a car supermarket.

Are these Meriva's any good I am only wanting a small people carrier as a 2nd car.

£7,700 sounds a little steep, although if it's really 'as new' then it's not too bad.

Personally, I can't see the point of a mini-people carrier. It really is just a personal view, but I find that a lot of people would be better off with a decent estate car - for about the same money you could find a new-shape Ford Focus estate that seats as many people, has more space and is better to drive.

Of course, if you specifically need a short but tall car, then that's fine. The Meriva is about the best of the bunch in that market.

  • Do not buy one of these cars. I have had them on more than one occasion as a courtesy car. They handle badly, are cheaply made and definatelynot worth the money. I would advise another MPV
