Hi,
I have just got a very high bill through - £286!! And I was very shocked it was this much - I went to Turkey for 11 days and switched on my data services a small amount of times. I have contacted Orange and they have said this amount is correct and that I will be able to pay it in off... Is this true? And if so, would they let me pay say £60 a month or would they expect alot more?
The data roaming would be aboue £216 as I used £50 for texts and my phone bill is £20.
Any help appreciated!
Thank you.

Unless you buy a roaming data bundle, the cost on Orange of using data in Turkey for Contract customers is £8/Mb.

Unfortunately, Turkey does not fall under the EU Data Limit, so you won't get restricted.

I suggest you call Orange and see if you can spread the payments.0 -

Hello,
I have phoned Orange and they said they will let me spread they payments, but they didn't say how much yet as the bill isn't due for another 2 weeks. Do you think they will let me say how much I can pay or do they have set prices?
Also I did ask for a roaming bundle but I was told they don't have one for Turkey0 -

Only Orange can answer that. Maybe tell them what you can afford each month and see if they agree. Also I did ask for a roaming bundle but I was told they don't have one for Turkey
You should have been able to use the Global bundle as Turkey falls outside of the Europe 1 zone. I would bring this up with them and see if they will discount to the amount you would have paid with the Global bundle on your account.

Only Orange would be able to answer this, but if you have an interest free credit card or even a low interest credit card it might be worth using that to pay off the bill as spreading the payment may effect your credit score (of course you should ask this first).0
