Sorry to bug the threads with my posts, bu decided to include the Mt T shop from last night into November's pot as it hasn;t cleared the account yet and today is payday so it will come out of my November Accounts that I keep (in the vain hope of ever saving money!!!!)

In for £300 this month
please
Determined to cook more at home, use less convenience and reduce that spending! A farm shop butchers visit planned tomorrow to grab some meat then going to look through the recipes on here for inspiration! Starting today after my last small shop for this month which included some 'whoopsied' cakes for the boys at 19p, never had anything so cheap in the local coop
Thanks to all who contribute to this threadOne day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Should I include last night's delivery in my November total as it will come out today which is payday and it's for November's use...or should I wait for an actual spend in November????
There are 3 of us Me, DH and DS(6) so £300 should be adequate if not more for us this month...That's £10 a day
Personally I'd put it in Nov, but it's really up to you
ETA: oops - now read that you've already done that
Can't remember who was on about upping budgets for Xmas - I will, but only by about £50 - that more than covers it.
I love feeding loads at Xmas - it's just the 6 of us this yearGive me a houseful to feed and I'm happy! (DS2 was due 2nd Jan and I cooked Xmas dinner for 11 that year!)

Thanks Pink Winged, Rosieben & Mrs McCawber for running the thread, its much appreciated. Welcome to all newbies.
My month started on the 26th and I have already spent £161.29! However this has included a £12 bottle of Tia Maria (my xmas treat to myself!) and also £25 on toiletries mostly for myself but also £5 for OH. I have a bit of an annomoly (sp?) in my inclusion of toiletries because if I purchase them at a supermarket then I include them (which the £161 does) but if I purchase them at Boots or anywhere other than a supermarket then I don't so really I need to decide one way or the other!
I actually managed to do a meal plan a few days ago which I have just completed day two of and have up to and including Wednesday of next week to adhere to. I find them sooo difficult to do! My DS has just started doing more sports activities which are around teatime & as he is diabetic I like to stay with him & these days are proving even more difficult to plan & cook properly for. I really could do with batch cooking some meals for the freezer as OH's desire & ability to cook after he gets home from work will be rather limited!Grocery aim £450pm.Spent £519 August, £584 July, £544 June, £541 May, £549 April, £517 March, £517 Feb,£555 Jan, £573 Dec, £465Nov, £561Oct, £493Sept, £426Aug,£496 Jul, £528Jun, £506May,£498April, £558 March, £500Feb, £500 Jan, £490 Dec, £555 Nov,£566 Oct, £505Sept, £450Aug, £410 July, £437 June, £491 May, £471 April, £440 March, £552Feb, £462Jan0 -
Forgot to say, although I do feel well stocked up, I am going to a gluten-free food fair tomorrow so may well get tempted there!Grocery aim £450pm.Spent £519 August, £584 July, £544 June, £541 May, £549 April, £517 March, £517 Feb,£555 Jan, £573 Dec, £465Nov, £561Oct, £493Sept, £426Aug,£496 Jul, £528Jun, £506May,£498April, £558 March, £500Feb, £500 Jan, £490 Dec, £555 Nov,£566 Oct, £505Sept, £450Aug, £410 July, £437 June, £491 May, £471 April, £440 March, £552Feb, £462Jan0

£59 in Mr S on first Nov weekly shop but I did spend £6 on Halloween stuff and a few quid on toiletries which won't need re-stocking for the rest of the month so fingers crossed it's just a slight blip that will even out!Mortgage£148,725 Student loan£13,050 HSBC loan£12,221

Hi, I wonder if I could join in with the thread. It would be my first challenge. Could you put me down for £220 for November please. My month will start on the 1st. This will be for myself, 2 DS's and 5 cats. I've got a fairly full freezer and my cupboards are full so hopefully (!!!!!) I will come in under budget. Thanks0
