Good Morning

I'm wondering if someone could please put us out of our misery - PLEASE!

We're living in a rented house, and hope to move out of here within the next 3 months. Therefore we can't sign up for Broadband (and our landlord won't allow it anyway).

We were with Fast4 for 3 months, but they went down the pan big time. I got so frustrated with them I pulled the plug on them a couple of weeks ago. We bought a MIP from my internet pass, but managed to use the 80 hours up very quickly :rotfl: so that isn't an option either. So this week I signed up to zazizam - what a joke! I was fine on Tuesday, Wednesday night I couldn't connect, nor yesterday afternoon. I called them, they reset something, and said it would all be ok - then couldn't collect last night, nor can I connect this morning. I can't have such an unreliable service - they give me some schpeel about just being taken over yadayadayada, but the bottom line is, they are cr*p!!!!!!!!!!

Please, can anyone help? All I want is a decent ISP, where there's no minimum sign up of 3 months (we may be out within 2 months) that's 24/7 and isn't with the dreaded speed-mail, as fast4 and zazazim are! I don't mind paying upto about £12 a month for it, any more seems an insult as you can get broadband for that.

Thanks in advance for any help,

If you want it for that short a time how about finding a supplier or 2 that offers a months free trial.
When I first joined AOL I had a months free trial which they even extended when I phoned and said I wanted to cancel

Just checked and AOL Anytime are offering 1 months free trial and no minimum contract.
  • i think virgin.net do contracts on a one monthly basis - also see here for other info

You may be able to find some providers have ordinary landline access numbers that you could dial using a Call1899 account.

    I've sent a PM ...

I'd be interested in that - I do know of an internet access number starting 021 - but this is barred by some phone companies.

Please could you PM me too? Thanks
