Oh gawd don't say that - I'd die! Think we're only on for 20 minutes so it won't be too bad. I'm a good swimmer but the sea terrifies me

  • Friday the 13th was a nightmare for me. Finished work at 1pm to drive to Wales to collect daughter from Wales who has just lost her job but is going on 2 week holiday on Monday with friend!!!. Put £40 fuel in paid £4.90 to get into Wales got to her flat to find deposit of £240 owed to friends mum for bond on flat, mother desperate for it back as put it on her Mastercard - trip to cashpoint followed!. Daughter went to sign on they told her to come back after the holiday. Her share of rent £113 due on 1st Nov she flys back to Uk on 31st Oct left post dated cheque for that. Left to come home and got flashed by speed camera at Port Talbot = £60 & 3 points on licence to come.£7.37 for tea at McDonalds and £30 for more petrol as nearly ran out!
All in all nearly £500 spent - got home at 10.15 pm absolutely shattered and broke. Next Fri 13th will be staying in doors and booking a days leave!!!!!!!

I was going to waste some money at the chippy yesterday, but I changed my mind. Its under new management, and frankly I expect it to get closed down, the place is disgusting now :(

So... I ended up cooking myself and saved the money.

Theres now no decent takeaway places locally, so I guess I'm going to have to start cooking and stop being so lazy.

I guess thats good though, no places to waste money any more :)

Well done WG. I am annoyed that DH persuaded me that tonight we might solve our problems by buying a lottery ticket. We haven't! Enjoy the beef stew.
