Aarrow Ecoburn 7 thoughts

Options
About to buy my first stove, and had been considering going cheap with an Evergreen stove. However with some helpful replies on this forum i've decided to splash out a bit more and I am now looking at an Aarrow Ecoburn 7.
Does anyone have any experience or comments on this stove?

Dont know. Am thinking of getting an Aarrow but a different model.

They seem to have decent build quality, British made, and dont cost 3 arms and a leg.

    Look here for some opinions

My parents had had an Aarrow (not sure which model but is a narrow steel 5KW stove) for over 15 years and it has been fantastic. No complaints from them

If it's any help, a couple of retaliers whose opinions I think I trust (and they are pretty few and far between) said they rated this brand quite highly. Aside from that, I'd second he treview on whatstove as a source, given all the usual caveats about consumer reviews.
  • Installed a few Ecoburn's......pretty nicely made and work well. Solid construction, pretty nice looking and easy to replace parts on.
  • Thanks guys for your replies. Reviews look good, so just getting my head around the steel/cast iron choices in stoves. Still attracted to the Aarrow Ecoburn 7 even though it is a steel stove. Been quoted £695 from a local shop, which looks a decent price.
