i've just checked my bank and i've got an extra payment aswell and its about £3 less than usual. i reckon we just got paid early as its halloween weekend. i normally get mine every tuesday. i've no idea why its less though. maybe its just the new amount i'm due?

I've just checked and I have a payment but it doesn't say who it is from yet. If it is from CTC it is much lower than my normal amount.

Why on earth would Sunday being Halloween have any effect on CTC payments?
  • Hi, I recieved an extra payment today after receiving one two days ago. We recieved it monthly so i was confused. it is around £14 less than usual.

I was wondering if it was backed dated from when we had our second child in August as the new amount did change til Sept I don't think it was back dated. The only thing is it seems to much as it is almost a months worth.
  • Just the usual amount for me today .

Wish i had got an extra payment....i could be doing with one lol.

have you informed them of a change of circumstances in the past 4 weeks or so? the only times i have had extra payments are due to that (such as a change of ad) or due to payment day and holidays clashing.

Mine is from CTC and I am baffled. I have had no change of circumstances. It isn't my normal amount, so not an early payment. I hate it when they do this with no explanation because I am now worrying about what it is and if they are going to want it back.
