Amazon half price toy sale

Is it something Amazon do from time to time.... got some bargains from Amazon toy sale last year... but cant find much on the site atm ???

if you're struggling with getting to grips with amazon's price fluctuations, there is an online tool that tracks amazon price changes. so if you're not sure whether you're getting a good deal or not, copy the url of an item on amazon, and paste it in the search box at
http://uk.camelcamelcamel.com.

this will then display price changes over the past 3/6 months, so you can tell if a 'was' price is artificially inflated or not.

eg. the lego house:

It is brilliant tell him it is, I love a bargain and love to know what it actually costs, like the Sainsburys half price sale or what it was supposed to be for the lego was completely wrong because the prices were hicked up originally the half price did not reflect what you could buy from amazon or tesco or even argos so it was not half price but people were pulling them off the shelves and not really checking, if it says it is half price must be a bargain, right?

I know I found out about the amazon sale here, dashed off and got the house and lego police, missed out on the fire truck with the dithering I do but how else would anyone have known about it? Was it advertised? How come it was on so early in the morning? Does it happen often? How long does it last or is just until it is sold out and then goes back to full price?

Well it is like take the lego police car in Sainsburys £5.99 supposedly but in tesco bought it without half price sale just normally priced at £3.49 so Sainsburys half price £2.99 a massive saving of 48p:j:jwoop woop woop:rotfl::rotfl:

I just noticed that CamelCamel isn't picking up some of the best amazon prices from the 29th octboer - we got
LEGO® 6192: Pirate Building Set for £4.99 and Play Doh Magic Swirl Ice Cream Shoppe for £8.95, neither of which have been recorded by CamelCamel - great find though for double checking prices.
