Thanks guys Im thinking we should start a Lego deals thread lol the problem I have is that my DS is very spoilt (bad I know most of it was when DD was very seriously ill he even got to to meet the Lego model makers at Legoland because he was so good) and he has most of the small sets. Therefore Im trying to get deals on the bigger lego city sets I got a deal with Smyths it was £20 off and then I used the £5 voucher for the lego city garage (for his b/day) but he wants the train and plane set's for Xmas. I would like to at least get him one but I do not want to splash out lots of money on them.

looked on tescos but its 17.97 - did ya miss the 1 off or have they increased the price - thanks anyhow

This was £20.10 at the half price sainsburys sale so taking it down to £10.05 sure a saving but it was not that costly either on ebay, carousel toys or amazon to begin with, taking that one back because for that price can get more lego than just that one game and he never asked for it, determined to have a xmas where he actually gets what he has asked for and this one he def asked for way back in sep got it from Tesco for £17.97

Yes huge apologies yes I missed the 1 it is £17.97 at tesco checked again yesterday and it is still the same price so is the police transport vehicle at £7.97 and the SA told me they have just one random reduced lego item per week, the week I saw it it was the lego tractor down to £3.97 and this week yesterday it was http://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-City-7630-Front-end-Loader/dp/B001CQPRRM/ref=sr_1_23?ie=UTF8&qid=1288602146&sr=8-23 they had none left in stock, worth having a quick check if you are in Tesco to add to the collection, the SA was young and did not know which lego city item they choose to reduce each week and how long they will be doing (presumably up until xmas?) etc but so far I have seen by chance the lego city tractor down to £3.97 and the above HTH

When because I got it last week in the half price sale and it was reduced from £20.10 to £10.05p so taking it back don't need that one and would rather get some lego he can play with than a game:D
