This won't help your situation now but I'd email and complain - 2nd time it's happened, is putting you off using their online shop again etc etc I've complained about their online delivery following advice from others on this site and have had a credit of £5 from tesco clothes and a £15 cashcard from the groceries!

We had this happen to us a few weeks ago. We took it back to the store the next day along with the delivery paperwork and went to customer services desk. CS desk called someone over who was in charge of home delivery and they removed it for us and refunded the cost of the item - very pleased as it was quite expensive!!

Worth popping into the store, if you can.

The thing is a lot of us use home delivery as we can't get to stores easily - to shop or complain.
