    Pro,

Sorry to here you're still struggling after all this time but big pat on the back for gritting your teeth and bearing with it all this time.

You probably remember asking this very question many a time yourself.

Statement of affairs? Just so we can see your debt levels against your income and expenditure. You know this goes...

Cheers penelopedee, I feel quite a hypocrite posting my issues on here after all of moral high ground in the past about paying back what I owe etc and now the shoe is on the other foot.......

Don't be daft there is a difference between "I spent it all now I can't be bothered paying it back" and "I want to pay it back but circumstances at the moment do not allow it"

Read someof the other threads you have been on. OH is currently out of work and know how hard it is.
You start to get sorted and life kicks you in the pants again.
Some of the self righteous souls on the credit card/loan forums should remember when they post nasty comments how quickly and easly life can change and leave you right "in it" so to speak.

Onwards and upwards as they say.

Just one thought I am in the middle of pursuing a number of PPI reclaims, do you have any old loans/cards you may be able to claim back on,it may be that they use any refunds against the outstanding debts but at least it would bring down the amount owed.
There is no time limit on how far back you can go,but obviously its harder to get info on older accounts.
Worth a read on the PPI forum here and over on the CAG forums.

May be a way to get those debts down quicker?
