But then perhaps you could have said - "in my experience" instead of generalising ?0 -
But all I know of is my experience. In never seeing a car with a full size spare wheel how was I to know?0

Precisely my point
Only ever offer your own experience and dont make sweeping generalisations as fact.
In this case perhaps you can accept as others have posted, "most" cars don't have space saver spare wheels.0 -

None of them put most in speech marks though. So when they said most I was lead to assume that this is fact. Which is the exact same thing you're picking at with me.0 -
You in probability will fail so probably best keeping on good terms until after the test.
Oh well, Hintza, when you're right you're right. Failed on one serious and five minors, four of which were linked to the serious.
Came I think from the different arrangement of gears on the Fiat Punto that we own, and my instructor's Vauxhall Corsa that I took the test in. Even though it involves pushing in a button on the gear lever, I managed to put the car into reverse instead of first when trying to move off after a stall at some lights. Got myself into a complete flap, I'll admit. On the Punto, the reverse is opposite the fifth gear, so I've got used to shoving the gear lever as far to the left as I can to get it into first.
Oh well, hopefully next time will be better...0
