well, to be honest, nearly everything i want to buy from ebay *always* makes more than i can buy it elsewhere for.
and yet, anything i come to sell usually makes less than other people on ebay sell it for. argh!0 -

My friend actually sells dvd`s he hasnt got on there. When they sell, he just buys them from play or somewhere and sends them straight onto the buyer, making a profit.0 -
I think it is to do with the terminology - you win an auction - you are a winner - if you buy it at amazon or somewhere you are just a customer - they must pay for the excitementAlways on the lookout0

looking on ebay - cd's seem to go for between £7-10 yet only £6.75 on cdwow with discount link & voucher!!0

OMG - its just funny! - mind you, if the buyer thinks they got themselves a bargain then who is the seller to argue - lol! I think I would be tempted to have offered the other guy a copy too in a second chance offer and then popped down to WHSmiths and posted him a copy - lol!
