Not many yellow sels at all in the store but did find...

lindt dark chocs were £2.99 with big yellow sticker and scanned at £3.49
But they'd changed it by the time I got to the till - Someone had removed the £2.99 sel

So now wondering if I am being watched? Its not like I find many R+Rs I've only found 3 this year!

They have also cut back on taking coupons - They checked EVERY one that i put through the self scan and took off 6 of them saying unless i buy the items which they are for I could only use 2 per transaction.

  • This DVD is on offer of the week at £9.74 and that is what you are charged for the single disc, however, on the SEL it says Ice Age 2, 2 disc, £9.74. It is the limited edition ones for £17.96 that have 2 discs in them. I was charged £17.96 and got full refund when I pointed out the 2 disc part. :j Also got 2 Buckaroos for £1.74 and the Junior Cranium for £6.54 so it was a worthwhile trip.

Got a DAB radio today, SEL in front of boxed radios £34.97 2 shelves above they had the display radios, out of the boxes, there was also a SEL in front of these showing £39.97 - Duty Manager was a saint & had no problem offering a full refund - what a lovely change :)

Also had the kids paint by numbers SEL £9.97 outer case holding the individual items £7.97 refund no problem

( noticed ,but didn't get, the adult paint by numbers also had the same SEL/case misprice )

Where are these, with the toys or stationery - bief desciption would be good too. Thanks.;)
  • Excellent - found Fresh Lamb Loin Chops (yum yum) SEL (offer ended 14/10/06) indicated £9:98 per kilogram, scanned at £11:98 at scanner and labelled up at £11:98. Tried 8 packs but only got R&R on 6 so £35 of meat free! Bargain! The two that went back were also the cheapest ones thanks to my very observant girlfriend!

CS also refunded me accidentally for a 7th pack! 6 packs of lamb and a five pound free bonus! LOVELY JOB!

OH went to local branch of tesco tonight and bought 27 packs of the 50g Lindt Lindor mini chocolate boxes, black and red (apparently for her staff at work ;) )
They were labelled 66p but charged at the checkout 99p.

CS gave a full refund with absolutely no quibble, even though the sel stated that the offer price expired on 24/10/06

Lots of free chocolates for her, I mean the staff then :rotfl:
it's not the council's fault your band is wrong, blame the Valuation Office !!!!!
