Hi,
this book has a SEL of £8 but a sticker on the front of the book of £8.97..took it to till (no price checker in my local  ) hoping it would go through as £8.97 BUT it didn't,it went through as £8. Damn! This was my very first attempt at doing this too...thought id got lucky when saw it lol.
It was only when I got home and looked at my reciept again I noticed that a pack of 3 lipsyls i got have been charged £1.68 but it has a big yellow reduced sticker on it...supposed to be 82p....is this an r&r? Should I take it back and if I do what will I get?...refund of £1.68 and keep the lipsyls (which ive opened anyway)
Any help appreciated, Helen xlove my little man he is amazing :j0 -
Tesco Metro/Ecclesall Sheffield 2 Tescos pies for £5, no discount and full R&R and SA very apologetic. Apparently the discount didn't work because one of the boxes that I picked up didn't have the promo advertised on the box itself. She did take the SEL away.
Bit confused about this because the promo pie scanned at £2.72 and the non-promo pie scanned at £2.26 so the combined price didn't come to £5 anyway. This is my first successful R&R. Hurray, I am no longer an R&R virgin :j0 -
Big stack of Bush DVB (Freeview) Boxes on the end of an aisle with a yellow A4 laminate poster showing special price of £29.99
Offer had expired yesterday however, so full price of £34.99 was charged. So, a free-freeview box
PS - Filofax's in Xmas section are now scanning at the BOX price of £12.97, not the SEL of £14.97 - DOH!Always after a bargain... :-)0 -
just got two of the dab-106 radios! be quick, they were changing the SELs. had to rush around the store in case they'd changed it by the time we'd got through CS.
was offered the difference but pointed out the policy and so they gave the r&r but insisted that the items were non-returnable. thought it best not to make a scene so went with that.
turn on, tune in, checkout.0 -
new offer started today for Special K, 2 for £3.50... the larger yellow promo label does not state the size of box... anyone with spare brave pills might want to pick up 2 of the red berries 500g at £2.98 each (white sel) and the discount doesn't come off0

Hiya folks,
Champagne and chocolates SEL £20 - Price on box £18
Rowenta Effective Iron. Model Number DX 1220 G1 R. Two different biggish yellow signs with the model number on (minus the G1 R). One saying £14.97, the other £14.98 and two SEL's saying £14.98, one of which was behind a biggish yellow SEL.
A Handful of Horrid Henry Book Stickered £4.97. Scanned £5.97. Lilac cover, 3 books in 1.
Also tried for A Helping of Horrid Henry Book Stickered as above but scanned the same. Pinkish cover - also 3 books in 1.
Pringles - sour scream & ooohnion with 25% as posted previously never worked either.
They had the umbrella's as previously posted at £4.97ish, it's a penny difference on the shelf. Also the little bungee watches (i think that's what they are called) £1.48 on SEL but £1.46 on box. No file - o - faxes or mp3 players which is what i was really after. (If anyone wants to swap some champagne for either.................... lol).
Joyce
PS The guy at customer service said that someone got a R&R yesterday on a dvd set which was supposed to be BOGOF but didn't elaborate on which one. I tried to press but no luck. CSI was the only one i could see on BOGOF but decided against trying it just in case as i felt that i'd had enough. Might be worth a try though for others.
Thanks again to all posters.
PPS - what's the best way to store the champers and choccies?0 -
