Unfortunately FaF, you have to take the first step. The first step, like with many things, involves you accepting there is a problem and that only you can start the process of dealing with it.

So, come on, I'll start you off..........

FaF - 'My name is feesarefare and I am a details deficit'
Everyone - 'Welcome FaF its good to have you here, and you have been able to admit your problem'.

    Now lets move forward.

All this assumes you have taken the fist step.

Are you ready to do that FaF?

    Nah!!

"I feel this whole discussion is going round in circles and for whatever reason responses are being mis-quoted" as you said earlier in the thread.

Your going to have to learn to try and understand whats going on instead of trying to blame everyone else for your own short -comings. Everyone misquotes you, how terribly sad

Still waiting for you to explain what you meant by this
I would almost say based on how comfortable I am with responses, information, etc, etc.

Cut and pasted directly to avoid misquoting your fine grasp of the english language.

Fortunately it is only yourself who appears intent on mis-quoting me.

    Oh dear, oh dear.

Your grasp of detail is letting you down again I'm affraid. Its post 78 btw ;)

"The word 'comfortable' describes a multitude of aspects which I am not documenting becuase they might vary depending on the reason for consulting an IFA.

The bottom line is that I would need to be comfortable with the reasons for selected products, compared to others, comfortable with the past performance compared to others, comfortable with the renumeration charges, in isolation, i.e. a fee, or compared to others, and yes do I feel comfortable with the communication between us and hte level of involvement I would hopefully recieve.
    "

Now please understand, and this is quite important, the above list is not comprehensive but hopefully will answer your question (again) and allow you to move forward with the help you so obviously need (based on these recent posts).

I do so enjoy helping others.

Im not interested in your clap trap, im trying to understand the idea of "almost saying" something - you either say it or you dont,
dont you? Is this a practice you developed in your LAUTRO days, back when you had your finger on the pulse of the financial services industry?

Oh, you do make me laugh. Deflection is often used by a details deficit in order to side step awkward situations and not have to 'fess up to the truth'.

    So, by
Im not interested in your clap trap
do you mean the truth, the facts?

    And by
trying to understand the idea of "almost saying" something
I'm not sure how much more clearly I can state what I have been saying (over and over again). Please bear in mind it is you who has demonstrated on numerous occasions a details deficit.

But this is the best bit:
Is this a practice you developed in your LAUTRO days, back when you had your finger on the pulse of the financial services industry?
Ha, ha, ha. PMSLMAO with this. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Please tell me you've got more to offer than this?

    Oh dear, poor FaF.

You've got to stop faffing around, you are in denial (no not the river).

Your problem is stopping you from seeing and accepting all the evidence in front of you. All these posts where you have claimed a lack of detail or specifics when the evidence has proven it is there.

You continue to demonstrate an inability to take onboard detail. Whilst pretending you are 'ok' you try to deflect the issue on to someone else.

I am a little sorry for you as it does cause you to place yourself in situations you are unable to weasel your way out of. (I probably have more sympathy for your clients though).
