I know a few people who use blackberries because they have a full keyboard and BBM (blackberry messaging), despite it being essentially the same as texting

the beauty of bbm is that it doesnt cut into your text or web allowance and is very quick in areas with medium to good signal.

i have a 9700 bold and i must say its the best phone ive ever owned and over a 3g network will out-perform an iphone 3gs to load a webpage (tested it myself)

Not all BlackBerries have the QWERTY keyboard.

My new Pearl has the "phone" abc keypad. It looks like an ordinary phone too which is what tempted me to take the plunge.

im after my first BB but dont really know what the differences are between them all? is there much in it?

    Thanks in advance

If you don't know much about BB are you sure you really want one ? Take a good look at the other smartphones on the market as they should all do ebay, Hotmail etc.
