    3 days to go @beanielou

Abbie's decided she's not coming, seen this happening tbh as she was starting to get really low and no holiday is worth feeling like that you should be excited to get away not dread it, I was a bit upset yesterday, very emotional and crying at random times which isn't like me but I'm glad she told us.  Luckily we are only out of money for her passport so not too bad.  She'll be given her money she saved so it'll be her responsibility to feed herself no doubt she'll buy a new pair of trainers but it's her money xx

Managed to pay the Halifax off woo hoo one less thing to worry about and I've transferred £100 over to the emergency fund so that's sitting at £600, want to get this back up to £1000 before I tackle hubby's credit card.

Today's jobs is to get to the post office and pay in the money my gran gave me for her new free-view box we ordered her, It's meant to come today so we will get that installed for her as she's missed recording her programs.

Also need to start cleaning the house before we go, I know Abbie will still be here but I want it all cleaned so she can just keep on top of it.

Also need to phone our life insurance and get them to transfer the insurance to my back account as had a blow out with hubby again cause he's well into his overdraft t the point I had to put money in his account for his bike insurance.  Yesterday I actyally thought what the hell am I doing busting my backside to pay off this debt if he can't manage his own flipping money.  he pays money into my account every week firs it was £200 a week which is half his wages then it was £150 now I'm asked him to put it down to £100 a week which is absolutely rubbish but I guess I'm just going to have to manage,  something is better than nothing but i'm getting sick of bailing him out.  when he bought the bike i asked him if he was sure that he could afford it and he swore he could.  He says he just forgets what day his direct debits come out and then spends the money on absolute rubbish.  And I've told him I'm taking over the credit card account he tried to say no that he would clear it but I know for a fact it's sitting just under £5k and told him no way was he clearing it by just paying minimum payments.

Yesterday was just an abolsute write off for me couldn't wait to get to bed to start a new day.

Got up and have done my exercise on the cross trainers before i started work at 7.30pm (kids are snoring on the couch) so done the finances, have updated the food larder facebook page of the new changes being put into place and have organised the last prescription to be collected.

Right off to put a washing on so I can put it on the airer as the weather outside is miserable xx

Sorry it's been a roller coaster for you this week.
You pay off debt so amazingly well and I can't believe how quickly you have paid off that Halifax.
Sorry about Abbie and also about Hubby. Hopefully this will be a lesson to him and he'll learn. x

Sorry to hear Abbie doesn't want to go on holiday, is it fear of the virus or something else? At least you've gained a house sitter. Could you take over hubby's finances or at least go through them together, set him up with a spreadsheet so he knows when the direct debits are going out and work out a plan to clear his debts? I'm glad I've always been the one who sorts the finances in our house as Mr SA has always been rubbish with money. Stress you don't need just before you go on holiday.

Sorry that abbie doesn't want to go with you, hope you have a lovely time anyway.

Congrats on clearing the Halifax!  Sorry to hear about the issues with hubby, it must be very frustrating for you.

Sounds like your hubby is pretty poor at managing his money. Is it worthwhile taking charge of the finances, cancelling his overdraft and moving all the DDs to a central account? That way whatever money is 'his', once it's gone it's gone. It's not fair on you for him to continually run up debt then you're the one responsible for clearing it.

But i guess by taking control of all the money, he's not actually learning anything either.

Hope you come to some kind of solution, because resentment over money is something that can fester.

Sorry to hear Abbie isn't coming, but better you know now than for her to be miserable when you're there. You'll have a lovely time away.

He's always been crap with money but this year has been something else then he has the cheek to lecture abbie about what she spends her money on........ehhhhhhhh

all he has to pay for is his bike, the insurance for the bike and the life insurance and his credit card which i'll be tackling after holiday.  Not much but I'm phoning the life insurance to get it moved over to my account.

After thats been done all he'll have is his bike finance and bike insurance.  I was actually thinking of clearing his bike before we remortgage but i really wanted to save up money and chuck it towards the mortgage and get a better deal.

Fed up of having to SAVE THE DAY with him tbh

easy jet have sent me a email to say only small bags which can go under the seats of the plane.........no dimensions no nothing so trying to get clarification is like pulling teeth !!!!!!

still got food larder stuff to do, message all my Avon customers to say i'm doing my rounds tonight instead of tomorrow and get my roots topped up after it plus don't finish work til 6.30pm thank goodness one more working day tomorrow.

Managed to get my 30 minutes of cross trainer in this morning, got my eyebrows done £6 look much better bought lunch £2.85 as running down the food.  Need to drop off a bag of clothes to the clothes bank and drop off a packed lunch box to my mindees house as she left it here yesterday.  means the dog gets another walk lol

I dont know how you do it.  I really dont.
So he pays for his bike & bike insurance & that's it.
He keeps nearly all of his pay & you pay all the bills.
He is a lucky lucky man. I hope he appreciates that & you  xx
