What's it like in Primark these days?  Is it still horrendously busy?  I used to try and go at 8am when it opens and is quiet. Mr SA is always lucky in there with tshirts and shorts but I can never find anything for me.  I always stock up on their cotton wool pads, they're brilliant at 90p for 200.

I've never heard of the airwick decospheres, I'll have to investigate these, we have a Savers locally. I like my house to smell nice when I come back from holiday, it never does as DD still lives at home and she only does the bare minimum cleaning wise. On the plus side she's a live in dog/cat/house sitter as she takes the week off work.

We always end up taking more clothes with us than we wear. Being in a villa is great for washing.

It was quite quiet @Sun_Addict first time I've been to a shopping centre

I love the decospheres the smell last for ages and it's such a pleasant smell.

I always over buy for the kids but last year we came back with loads of clothes for the kids so no point wasting money and the clothes in turkey are really good quality xx

    Morning

back on the keep fit wagon after a couple of weeks off lost my mojo with it tbh but this morning got up early with hubby and did 20 minutes on the crosstrainer and racked up 3000 steps all before 7.30am so i really want to continue with it as feel so much better for it.  So i think on the mornings I get up early I'll nip into the garage and do between 20 - 30 minutes on the crosstrainer to start my day. also managed to get a shower before I started work.

Bit of a spendy weekend spent £71 in iceland warehouse but had a £5 off voucher so cost me £66 also bought the boys a game on the switch for £4.49 and £7 on a new top on fb marketplace.  Also made £10 selling the boys old set of drawers.  Seen a set in lidl that had four drawers ideal with the boys sock and pants for because they were sharing 3 drawers but they needed two small drawers each and seen a set in lidl for £30 bargain as was going to spend £90 in ikea so we will see how this does.

Sent £7.25 towards the halifax which means I have only £34.60 of my original target to clear then it'll leave the £279.96 for the four tyres I needed to get, Still hoping to pay these off before we go on holiday.

Submitted my Avon order got £737 once they took off everything that was out of stock, means I get £180 commission not to be sniffed at so that money can be used as extra for our holiday as we have the boys birthdays whilst we are out there.

Opened the kids tins, Abbie has £220 but most of this is birthday money lol Xand has £186.50 and KK has £111 so not bad at all.  so that money needs to be put in my bank account and we will need to get it turned into lira for them.  KK has started asking to do little jobs within the house so he can get more money bless him   They did well.

I bet you're glad you're going to Turkey not Spain - what a nightmare. I'm going to Ibiza so it's still going ahead but as it stands right now we'll have to quarantine on return. The Balearics/Canaries are in talks with the UK about getting an exemption because they have a very low rate of infection. Keeping my fingers crossed for this happening but fortunately we would be able to quarantine.

I prefer to get my exercise done first thing. It feels good to get some steps in the bag early in the day.

Another fantastic Avon order result there 😁

    Afternoon

Productive day so far today, got up with hubby and did 30 minutes on the cross-trainer, really didn't want to do it but felt better after I finished.  Put a washing on and its out on the line blowing away hoping it stays dry.

have finished collating the info for the last of the deliveries for the food larder, from next week the community centre will be opened so people now can come to the centre and collect the food as we are running extremely low on driver volunteers and now that the shielding aspect has been paused it means everyone who can get out can collect their own food if they wish to.

sent £5.90 towards the Halifax which means I have £28.70 of my original amount on my card, still on track to getting the whole card cleared by the time we go on holiday.  I'm determined.

Have started digging out the kids clothes for packing so my room is covered in clothes as you can imagine

Mortgage is paid so thats the last of my bills for July woo hoo

May have found a turtle rescue centre near where we are going to in turkey so trying to figure out how to get there as KK is absolutely fanatical about turtles.

The turtle rescue centre sounds fab 👍 One year we went to Zante and they were very protective of the loggerhead turtles and you weren’t allowed to go on the beach at night.
    Not long now ☀️🍹🏖

    Morning

Managed to get all the items off my list for holiday toothpaste, shampoo etc spent £41 in home bargains tho but its all there.

My avon came and it's all sorted and just need to organise the books and text all my customers tonight to organise the deliveries.

Have sent the prescription details to our driver and have organised the last food larder delivery.  the centre will be getting opened on a certain day for the food larder to operate.

managed to get 23 minutes on the crosstrainer before starting work at 7.30am (they are sleeping on the couch bless them) so just doing my banking.  sent a measly 4p towards the Halifax as I'm absolutely skinto til tomorrow better than nothing I guess lol xx

8 days to go tried on my holiday clothes and they still fit thank goodness lol so don't really need to buy anything for myself.

right off to take the dog for a walk and let the mindees get their lunch from the butchers as their mum didn't have time to make them a packed lunch xx
