Afternoon, how is everyone?? feeling awfully guilty for not checking in especially when it keeps me in check.
Ordered the last bits for Abbie's birthday, got the personalised banners to go out the front and I've ordered her friends monopoly which is arriving her tomorrow. Just need to order my pictures I found on a old laptop and that's me done. It'll be just food and drink to get in nearer the time and I need to order her cake from costco so need to do that a week before her birthday.
Just sent off the telephone call list to the two volunteers that do them over the weekend, Friday we had 61 deliveries so it's going down, no doubt it'll go back up this week as that is what the trend is.
Lost a childminding child, mum is putting him in a nursery suits me to be honest as this is one parent who isn't very honest with how well her child is so i've told her i can't guarantee a space in August when she needs to go back to work full time as I have a waiting list of 5 other people who are looking for childcare come August. I've advised one mum who is going back to college that I have a space for her if she wants it so she's coming round to hand in a deposit to secure her spaces. so that's that space filled just means I'm taking a hit financially in August but I will be OK as we will be on holiday therefore the normal bank account won't be getting touched whilst we are away as I'll have the holiday spending money saved up.
Just waiting on hearing back from another of my parents because at the moment there is no shared care therefore they have to chose between and nursery and their childminder which is a shame but a necessity at the moment. If she decided to pick me then I'll need to put in special permission to have 5 children on a Thursday and fingers crossed they don't take all day to decide. If she doesn't I'll fill the space in quickly.
holiday funds are sitting at £1820 not added much as it's mortgage day tomorrow so trying to be careful with pennies as had my friend round which resulted in nipping to asda for drinks and pizzas lol was a good night plenty of laughing all round.
Made £30 yesterday selling KK's old trainers, they were too small for him hes moved up a size since lockdown so scrubbed them with the pink stuff chucked them in the washing machine and hey presto they look brand new, all three pairs of them woo hoo so they all went yesterday.
speaking of washing machines, mines went bang, hubby stripped it changed the fuse nothing it's not even turingin on so its circuits have completely blown good job i had the emergency fund in place.......so ordered a Candy 9kg Washing machine for £279 and it's coming on Tuesday thank goodness. £30 delivery so not so bad.
Abbie got laid off her job due to cutbacks so last in first out but they said they will give her a call if they start to rehire again, such a shame shes absolutely devastated but she's managed to get £100 put away for holiday spends so she's well chuffed with that.. we've sent off her final bits of paperwork for her college course so they can ascertain whether she is entitled to a bursary and travelling expenses. still waiting on the company that let my hubby go in February as we never got his p45 which the college need. So i think another phone call to them might be in order to see where it is.
right off to help the boys gut their room as its a shambles don't understand why its so messy but it must be a boy thing i guess.

I’m sorry to hear Abbie was laid off, what a shame ☹️ Guess it’s the way it is for a lot of people right now unfortunately. Glad you had the funds in place for the washing machine and that you won’t be long without one. Your holiday fund is looking good 👍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Sorry about Abbie and being laid off. They seemed really understanding as well so hopefully they ring her.
Holiday fund is an amazing amount.
Glad you've filled the child place too.
Will you continue volunteering in the future? You seem like you enjoy it but once things pick up might be a bit much to try and juggle.

I've been running the local toddlers group twice a week for four years on a volunteer basis
I'll continue with the food larder as long as I can as I like helping out. Like you said it might become too much and my co-worker at the council is having kittens of me going back to work full time as I've got the system running smoothly but I hope I have it running in a way that someone can just slide in and take over.NEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.053 -
Great if you can help. I am sure they will be grateful if you can.
I tried the Avon mascara yesterday. It was brilliant and didn't smudge or clump at all. I've never really used Avon before but I'm sold on the fake tan and mascara xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

My avon came about a hour ago so I've got that to sort out plus i ordered the fake tan spray so we shall see how that goes on my super pale legs.
I need to go collect a huge love heart shelving unit that us still selling in the range for £50 i'm getting it for £20 ideal for the wall in my hallway, when you come down the stairs its such a high ceiling and wasted space and I seen this shelfing unit about 2 years ago and loved it but had better things to spend £50 on but patience has paid off so collect that at 3.30pm
Boys had a clearout of their room yesterday KK got rid of some of his toys and made £10 for his holiday tin, and Xander has some books to sell had a couple of queries so we shall see again i'll just put the money in their tin. also have a black bag to take to the clothes bank as it's all KK's old school uniform that can't be reused. I made him try on his school jumpers and they still fit
Taking KK to our local matalan which is just down the road as I only need to get him pants and socks for holiday and he wants to trial his face mask outside so thats what we are doing. hopefully we can pick some bargains up in the sale.
Kids are watching a movie so did my banking, have managed to send £1.39 over the the holiday fund big spender but mortgage is out so another bill done.
I have £139 in my cash back account however only £8 is payable and £39 is confirmed the rest is pending, so I'll withdraw some when the £39 becomes payable and transfer it over to the holiday fund and I have £18 in my PA so can't complain.NEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.052 -
If the Avon spray isn't to your liking I can highly recommend Garnier Summer Body gradual tanning lotion. It's more or less fool-proof, doesn't streak, gives a nice glow and it smells lovely. I use it in the winter months as I have a light olive skin which can go rather yellow in winter. Well done on the bargain shelving unit, worth waiting for.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
