How many parents will be tearing their hair out by the end of all this 😱I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

My husband's work was similar to yours Abba, although my husband flat out refused to come in after Monday night's announcement and his 3 colleagues followed suit (small company) so the boss had little choice but to close. It's shocking how many companies are leaving the 'up to your interpretation' as an excuse to carry on and pretend that their staff's lives aren't at risk. Hopefully the company will be closed soon and he can be at home safe with you guys.Sealed Pot Challenge 075

I'm quite enjoying home schooling KK at the moment this morning it was reading and fractions.......how dare they send fractions home but by the end of it he was getting the hang of it.
Sent £23.21 towards the barclaycard as my cashback cleared so its getting there only £40 til I get halfway through my yearly debt repayment target aiming to hit that by the weekend.
Managed to get another two boxes of Avon delivered yesterday and I have 4 to deliver tonight. Can't wait for them all to be delivered then that's something I don't need to worry about, have said to a few of my elderly customers if they need anything not to hesitate to getting in touch with me. Kills me not seeing my gran but I keep checking in on her via text making sure shes alright and if she needs anything.
Now that I;ve got KK's school tasks out the way I intend to make headway on this tee pee as I want my garden sorted for the kids coming back so once the teepee is built I'll be ordering my huge chalk board and mud kitchen as the money is in a separate account as this was the funding money.
Not done any exercise but tbh I've not been slacking yesterday the downstairs got blitzed, disinfected, hoovered and bleached within a inch of it's life I can feel my OCD habits creeping back in, haven't felt like that since before KK was born......I declared he killed my OCD as i didn't have time to keep up with my lists lol
If it starts to rain I'll be blitzing my bedroom and the boys have been tasked to sort out their room as KK's teacher is wanting a picture of their clean room as it's part of their tasks for this week.....helping around the house, we shall see as it's the only room I didn't hoover yesterday. So at least I have my back up plan lol xx
As for hubby's work they are starting to waiver on what to do......tbh I see where they are coming from as they will need to shut and continue to pay for their staff not knowing when the government 80% malarkey is going to kick in, they are a small family run business but I'm hoping the funds come in soon for them as it means hubby is hope. He says its a huge building and they have more than enough space for the social distancing, they are wearing gloves and masks and they all have disinfectant wipes at their bays so at least they are taking precautions. Think hubby is secretly thankful as I think he's spotted my list of jobs to do round the house haha

As i understand it, companies that don't think they can last until the govt grants come through (expected end of April) can apply for a quick turnaround business interruption loan to cover them in the interim if they're short on cash. Quite a few companies aren't really on top of figuring out what they can get and when they can get it so it might be worth sharing some of the important links with them.
Mu husband had to send links to his boss as he was completely clueless and not watching the news because he was 'sick of hearing bad news'. *eyeroll*Sealed Pot Challenge 075

I like that - the teacher wanting a picture of clean rooms. I bet parents hope this crafty trick carries on afterwards 😁
My DS is still having to go into work as the bosses say they make things for the NHS (not exclusively though). He's been told if they have to close they won't re-open and they'll all be out of work. Meanwhile the bosses have stopped work to self-isolate 😒

they cleaned there room i forgot to take a picture lol but will do it once they have made their beds and send it over this morning.
How is everyone??? We are doing ok I'm really missing Abbie tho as she staying at boyfriends for 3 weeks til this all blows over.
managed to get rid of more orders last night have enough to pay the invoice but want to wait until they have all paid, i only have 3 more remaining and they are all going out tonight thank goodness. Ill head up to the post office tomorrow morning as hubby will be home as don't want to take the boys with me to the shop. I'll also send back the returns I have for Avon as well so that means Avon will be completely stopped until this blows over. I'll probably sent £100 over to the barclaycard to get it under another hundred bracket.
I'm officially over halfway to my debt repayment target for the year scary stuff I've managed to pay this amount off in just over three months but once this barclaycard is cleared it'll be onto holiday saving money and passports for the boys to be arranged also as theirs expired next month.
Hubby sent some of his wages over so he officially doesn't owe the savings anything and my savings are creeping up again. hoping to have £1000 emergency fund by the end of April when this is all finished and it won't get touched or sent to debt unless there is an emergency.
Working today 9.30am til 2.45pm hes such a easy wee child so we will be doing mark marking, building Lego and playing with the cars today.........all his favourite activities.
Got a couple of tasks to complete with KK for his school work and he's all done.....I survived my first week of home schooling yey
Tee pee is nearly complete woo hoo no idea where I'm going to put it but it looks good and I'm really pleased I did the majority of it myself.

Evening,
Did you manage to get all your avon delivered?
Wow, three months in and half way. Hopefully you can pay off a lot more then. I love how you have a plan for everything and every month. It really puts me to shame as I am so ad hoc with everything and think I could be so much better if I did more planning.
Glad you have ahd a good home schooling week. I have seen some really upset parents this week who are struggling. I hope they manage to get themselves into a routine. It is hard because people are anxious and stressed and that doesn't help patience levels. It's such an unnerving time.
Have a lovely evening. x
