Great news about the card. Your dedication to the gym really puts me to shame.
I hope you get the Halifax paid off. I know it is something you have been wanting to do. I hope your hubbies shifts keep going so that you at least have that as well.
Have a good day. x

The Halifax is cleared woo hoo
Can breathe a bit now
Have worked out if I can tackle hubbys card before we go on holiday, I reckon I can clear it by end of May which would leave me with June and July to save holiday spends plus I need to renew the boys passports so need to check into how much this costs
Hubby passed one of his bike tests but the failed the other one, his resit is 9th March so far and it's £110. I'm so pleased he passed on one and he knows what he needs to do for his resit xx
He's got another shift tomorrow and May be Friday with his friend so that'll cover his resit ......positive thinking xx
Just back from the gym that's 6 classes this week but that's me for the week I'm shattered xx
Right off to get my dinner as hubby is making it xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.055 -

Glad that card is gone. You must be feeling really proud.
Hubby sounds like he is making progress with his bike tests, which is another great achievement.
He's also got some work too which must be a relief for you both. x

Morning
HI Niknak yes i was feeling very pleased with myself yesterday and I'm back on it already for hubby's barclaycard.
the total when I took it over was £3489.50 in November it's now sitting at £3193.90 so it's went down slowly.
The aim is to get this cleared by the end of May then I can concentrate on saving pennies for the holiday spends which would give me June and July to save up which will be fine as we don't go away til 8th August. Have sorced out travel insurance works out at £20 plus cashback for this so this month's PA survey money will go towards that so it's one less thing I have to worry about. Priced up the boys passport renewals and it works out at £49 online or £58.50 doing it via the post so might do one boys next month and the other passport the following month..........nice and steady wins the race lol xx
so that's me planned out financially until August then after holiday I will be hitting hubby's Halifax card which will be cleared before Xmas. Don't worry I've taken it off him now but I'm dreading finding out what is on this card but I've told him he will be helping me pay this off as I want it gone by Xmas then it'll be putting money by in the savings ready for remortgaging next April so would like a couple of thousand put by so we can pay off a little chunk of our mortgage as its currently sitting at £62K by the time we remortgage it'll hopefully be at £60K but I would like it under this 60's on a much much better rate as we are currently sitting on a rate over over 5%........shocking but I'm thankful we have a mortgage. Then once we are on our new mortgage which I'll be insisting we have online access to, I'll be hitting that xx
Been thinking about the back garden was thinking of getting gravel for a section of the garden but I think I'll be asking hubby's friend for a quote to slab where i was thinking of putting gravel and replacing the old slabs as some got broken during the removal of the wall a couple of years ago. He showed me nice slabs and the way he laid them out at another customers was very nice plus it means I can get the stairs done in the same stone. If I get this done that means the garden is complete, hubby wants decking as well but i would much rather get the slabbing done first then the following year we could get decking in as if we get this done we will be getting patio doors put in the back of the living room and I want this done at the time.

You're forward planning puts me to shame. I am not able to do that! I just look and pay when I can.
I have to sort out the business paperwork today. I'm due to remortgage in October, Hoping to get a rate of 1.29% so I need to focus on paying off as much as I can. x
