Hello :hello:

Up early showered and washing put on then cleaned the kitchen and bleached the floor before we were going out as my kitchen floor seems to take forever to dry

Went to check dig out my double buggy as needed to go into town today to homebargains and didn't think my and my mindee age 3 could walk the 2.2 mile trip and that's only the way there :eek: only to discover hubby has them in the back of the van and has took them away with him :mad: so thought stuff it let's see how this pans out and walked them up to homebargains with the promise of the bus back and they did it and kept asking me how many steps we took thanks to the Fitbit

Spent a pretty penny at homebargains, got fairy non bio, fabric conditioner, 8 deodorants for holiday (2 each) a cup for kks hold luggage, 3 Father's Day cards from my monkeys, sanitary stuff for Abbie, colouring in book for abbies hold luggage, pens and pencils, baked potatoes, 2 bags of my crisps, 3 packs of baby wipes, 2 packs of dunkers and got talked into sweeties but seeing as they walked all that way with no complaints i can't complain :T spent £32 in there :eek:

Jumped on the bus and they are eating their lunch :T

Finish work at 5.30pm tonight :T and we are off to meet a astronaut at a local college which was free :T

Got two avons to get rid of tonight one is to a family member so I'll give it to the mil to give to her sister and I'm trying to organise meeting the other one at the school :cool:

Hubby finished one homer last night :T and put £100 in the tin :T and he's away tonight to his friends to do another homer :T so this will get out into my account tomorrow and transfered over to the holiday account :T

Looking into fast passes at universal which are stupid prices but if you book a hotel for a night at the universal resort you can get two day fast passes but hotel costs £350 expensive I know but the fast passes are £80 per person per day :eek: so would work out £400 for 5 of us.......mil ain't interested in universal :rotfl: so will make that my next target I think before we leave

Hi abba, your holiday is fair creeping closer! We did the one night at universal and it was brilliant having the fast passes, we also got early entry for the Harry Potter area which gets so busy it was invaluable, not sure if they still do that?

Luke is at a 4 day event working with NASA scientists this week and there is an astronaut there too.....must be the same guy

Fitbits are a great invention, how amazing that the wee ones managed no problem.

Hopefully your mil will enjoy universal once she is there, I don't really 'do' big rides or simulators but I still enjoyed it. Asked the guy at the entrance to transformers if the ride was ok, he said it was and told him if he was lying I'd be coming back to find him :rotfl: It was actually fine....especially as I just looked around and didn't bother with the 3D glasses lol Really excited for you, you'll have an absolute ball and come back planning your next trip

If i go through hotels.com through topcashback i get 9% cashback but if i just pay a deposit now and pay the rest whilst i get there its actually working out at £340 by the time you do the exchange of UK pounds to US dollars instead of paying £395 upfront so need to talk to MIL as she doesn't want to do the fast passes at universal so it'll just be me hubby and the three kids going for 2 days whilst she will be on her lonesome but she doesn't mind so shes coming round today to pick up KK for his overnight stay and I'll work out dates with her and get it provisionally booked.

you still get into universal parks a hour before the public so plan is to get there at 7am pick up our express passes and head off to harry potter world then the next morning we will try our luck at volcano bay and see if we can get a seat :rotfl:

went to link all our fastpasses to everyone who is going and because my laptop runs on windows 7 :rotfl: it glitch on their website and allocated 2 tickets each to mil abbie and kaleb :eek: but none for me, hubby and xander :rotfl: telling you my luck is awful might need to ask for a new laptop for xmas no shame in this one its nearly 10 year old :eek::eek::eek: so queue me being on hold for 20 minutes then spoke to a lovely Disney person who sorted out all this in 10 minutes.....phew panic over :beer: need to find a sharpie so i remember whos card is whos :rotfl:

so thats another thing ticked off my list :T

It's super windy here but on the plus side the new fence is holding up nicely :j

Was meant to be having a lady to sign up for two spaces I have available from August but unforntaley one of her wee ones took not well so she's coming round tomorrow :T this would be amazing as it would only leave a Tuesday free and I've already got queries for this space too.......this would help me make a huge dent in my debt this year xx

So because it was just me and my mindee we decided to walk up to town, first time she's done this as she's three we had great fun in the wind thankfully we made it into the town just as the rain had started :T nipped into homebargains and spent £6 on two colouring in books for xanders hold-all, eggs juice for me and mindee, buiscuuts for playgroup and a sweetie for my wee walker :cool:

Bumped into a fellow childminder and as she's bene to Florida before I picked her brains for a few minutes........she seems to be more excited that I'm going to Florida than I am :rotfl:

Put hubby's homer money and my avon money into the bank, the council have paid me for the invoice they lost :T and I transfered some tax credits over to the holiday account :T so I have £1815 in there :eek: but I still need to book the lounge £120 and travel insurance £44 so will do that over the weekend. So still need to put pennies away, hubby has another homer tonight :T so will put that money aside as well

Mil coming round today so will try and get her travel insurance sorted as she keeps coming back to me with stupid quotes of £600 :eek: and I'll hopefull be able to book the universal hotel as well once we agree on a date xx
