Well done abba, you are doing so well!
Why would your private pension affect your government one?
I don't think it does I think I would need to pay tax if my private pension takes me over the personal threshold........I think xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -

Morning :hello:
I've passed the £400 mark :j going to keep going til I hit £500  which should be at the weekend
Hubby has a interview on Thursday :T but here's the snag we need to work out if he has to work a weeks notice at his work which might be for no pay depending on if he's had too many holidays then he would need to work a weeks lying time at the new job which could be potentially two weeks with no pay  scary stuff but it's a change from mechanical work it's slightly less pay but overtime is there If he wants it and it's Monday to Friday so if he wanted he could do the mobile mechanics at the weekends if he wanted.
Let's see what fate flings at us.......I've said as long as we have food in the cuprboards and our bills can get paid even If the debt repayments are on minimum payments we can do it xx
After I've go at the holiday money sorted then I might need to start putting money by in the normal savings account to see us through as if he were to get this job he wouldn't get holiday pay either
Now this will be a challenge :rotfl:NEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -
Well hubby got the job :j means next month will be tight but if he enjoys it and it puts a smile on his face that's all I can ask for
He's got a few homers so he's agreed any money earned will be put into the savings to cover us should we need it, I'll also be rounding down my account a d sending it to the savings, I've told hubby thwhatever we don't use by the end of July will be getting put towards the credit card so I'm hoping that we will have a good chuck to fling at it
As you can see on my signature I've hit my £500 target for the clothes shopping, again whatever is left from the shopping trip will be put into the savings until the end of July
So we have a plan just hope we can make it through to July with a few bumps in the road and I'm really hoping I can take a massive chunk out of the Halifax card by then xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -
Morning :sorry:
Sorry I wasn't on yesterday got lost in catching up with paperwork...........filed my tax return and renewed my tax credits then got caught up with some childminding paperwork seeing as I had no kids of my own and I wasn't working yesterday.........still got loads of paperwork to sort out as I go at my dreaded quiestpionnaires in which means my inspection is due at some point soon hate inspections but it's necessary
Was a LSD day until I had physio :rotfl: which was £30 but it's well spent as I can feel a difference in my left side which is my weak side and also spent £2 on juice yesterday so not too bad.
Got over £100 in the normal savings for when hubby goes to his new job hoping it's not too tight he's handed his notice in at work so this will be his last week of payment from his old job then it's no pay for a week in his new job ..........it's making me determined to be extra frugal so we can just chuck the savings at the Halifax card at the end of June :T we shall see
Taking Kk to playgroup today need to pop to lidl on the way up there for milk and cold meat and some breaded chicken and rice, then on the way back I need to nip into the butchers for a box of chicken for the freezer to see us through til we go on holiday, other than that we don't need much as just making do with what we have xx
Will catch up on more paperwork when I've dropped Kk off at nursery xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -

Bit of a spendy day today
Took Kk to toddlers then we nipped to lidl on way back home and spent £9 something on cereal, milk, stir fry veg, yoghurts, plasters, mushrooms, cold meat and then we popped into the butchers and got a huge 5kg tub of chicken breasts which will be put into freezer bags and put in the freezer
Bought Kk a sausage roll from Brownings for £1.15 but it was awfully greasy so he only ate half of it
So not too bad but I forgot the breaded chicken so might need to get that tomorrow for Kk as he's a wee fusspot about eating naked chicken as he calls it :rotfl:NEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -
Morning :hello:
Hope you're all well
Really trying to keep spends to a minimum so far I'm doing ok
Need to pop to lidl for cold meat eggs and cheese as having omelettes tonight plus need to get diluting juice
Going to playgroup so that'll cost £2 probably get the kids a cheeseburger from the burger van outside of playgroup so that'll be £3.60
We hav avon run tonight so far we have £270 in orders :j I have quite a few customers who normally give me decent orders so hopefully we will get past the £400 mark again means we get £100 commission :j
I have £167 in the normal savings for when hubby moves jobs hoping to make it over £200 tomorrow ..........potentially money for the Halifax card by the end of next month
Hoping the rain stays off til I'm back home from playgroup so we don't get wet
Twenty two day til we are off on holiday........cannot wait xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -

Sorry I haven't been on........just feeling sorry for myself
Hubby's past caught up with him and we nearly got a decree (ccj) against us all because of a blooming token payment nearly 5 years ago  so nearly £900 put on my credit card later  it's sorted and we won't be getting the decree against his name which would have scuppered our chances of remortgaging next year
Was so angry at hubby as he was blaming everyone but himself for the debt ...........there was plenty of shouting and crying on my part but it's done now so onwards and upwards
Have balance transfered the debt money onto my 0% card as I got a deal through on my barclaycard plus another £600 from my Halifax card this deal expires on June 2019 but I will aim to have this clear by April next year
Hubby is on board with rattling the credit cards :T after our holiday which is in 18 days :T plus we've agreed any overtime he accrues will be going into the holiday pot towards the Florida holiday which needs to be paid by April next year
Still being frugal.........although we need to get the bus to toddlers today.....normally if it's just me and Kk and the weather is like this we just have a day in but I need to replenish my first aid kit as some items are out of date so that's the plan today xx
We have about £240 in the back up funds :T hoping for £300 by the weekend as hubby started his new job yesterday and is really enjoying it so that's half the battle xx
Off for a shower hope everyone is well xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050
