I have started christmas shopping already...this is SUPER organised for me lol, i usually start in september! There are lots of sales on though and i thought i would be organised just for once
I have started a spreadsheet with everyone's name on it, what i bought them (so each present in my pressie box is allocated) and how much it cost me, then another colomn saying how much it was pre-sale and how much i saved % wise. I have saved loads so far and am only getting pressies i see in the sales if i haven't got someone's done by say november then i will pay full price in that months budget...but am hoping with all the sales ahead of us lol i will be all wrapped up (excuse the pun) by then
xx
how did i miss your post lol
I don't worry about him when he's out there never have, he's a great solider and if something should happen you can't stop it, totally believe in fate and all that rubbish lol he'll be fine he's just trying to muck with my head and it ain't working. I saved up all out shoe boxes so the kids could collect things and we' post them out but after that divorce petition came through they all got binned, kids can send him blueys but i'm not doing it anymore, tried to be friends with him and now i understand why he has hardly any mates, hes very arrogant and up himself and I have no time for people like that in my life.
Managed to get him to drop the "improper relationship" bit from the divorce because I had started seeing someone 6 months after we split (been 2 years in May) and it was a old school friend who he hated (we are not together anymore). So I asked him if my relationships with my gay and lesbian friends improper too seeing as hes totally homophobic and his lawyers advised him to drop it lol

Hi Abba
I don't know if you still use the card but alot of people on the main forum recommend ringing the credit card company and getting them to agree to reverting back to the old interest rate and in return you close the account. Its worth a try xx0 -

I've done it with the Cap One Card and my plan is to pay that off and close it completely and keep the halifax for emergencies and to keep my credit rate going if that makes sense x I don't use it just now and i've asked them NOT to send out the pin number so I can be tempted lol BUt if i keep knuckling down with the Cap one card and get shot of it asap I can concentrate on the Halifax one and stop paying them so much in interest lolNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -
which one are you paying the most interest on is it the Cap one or the Halifax??
Could be that you are already doing this so it could be teaching your grandmother how to suck eggs...(think that's the saying :rotfl:) or it could be that I got it totally wrong and nope I don't think like your grandmother either.....:o digging even bigger hole so will quit while ahead.....:) If you pay off the one with the higher interest first then hammer the second one...
Not sure if you have already done this either but can you do a balance transfer for 0%.
Enjoy the rest of your evening
