Afternoon :hello:
How are we all?????
Been up since 6.30  got showered and started work at 7am with one mindee then another arrived at 7.30 then another arrived at 8  so was a busy morning xx
Nipped to the post office to the pay the avon money in, posted my claim for my my credit card protection as apparently they are paying this back could be between £25 to £100 refunded to me find out in 8 weeks anything I get back will be in the mortgage account so spent 90p sending it recorded delivery and also bought a bottle of cola as I have a upset stomach £1
Went to playgroup £2 with baby k and two mindees and they are just chilling out watching peppy pig before we get lunch xx
After one of my mindees get picked up I need to nip to Asda once my two kids get picked up for their swimming lessons so I'll take my three mindees for a walk to Asda as need a birthday cake, meatballs for tomorrow night as well as batteries for baby k's night light and bread plus cold meat, good job I got paid today :rotfl:
Bank account is in the red  but there's nothing I can do til tomorrow as don't want to take the youngsters up to the town just to out cash in the bank so will do it tomorrow when we go to our other playgroup
Last week with the troublesome family :T can't wait as it means no more 8.30 finishes :T so Friday night is my last shift with them woo hoo xx
Right off to make lunch xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -

Evening :hello:
It's been a loooooong day :rotfl:
Been working since 7am finished at 7pm  still got this stomach bug working on me and got a headache that I can't seem to shift so going to bed early even if it's just snuggling up with the hubby to watch a DVD sounds like heaven xx
Walked up to town as just had one little mindee as my baby k is at his Grans so decided as it was a beautiful day I got two washloads out before we left for town, put my wages in the bank and we are back in the black then went to playgroup £1 then after playgroup nipped to homebargains spent £9 in there then nipped to farmfoods for diluting juice then into wilkos for hubby's shampoo £1.80 for two bottles then Iceland for abbies juice for school £2.50 and lunch for me £1.50
Had a quite afternoon with my mindee then at three he got picked up then I started with the after schooler, my friend paid for her avon so a tenner in my purse :T then sorted out my receipts for childminding accounts and found a fiver :T so stuck it in my mindees birthday card ..............I've just realised I never gave him the card :rotfl: will see him tomorrow will give it to him then
Requested my cash back last night just got notified it was in my bank account so I have transferred that to the mortgage account so £37 is away there.......I love free money
Received a cheque from Dvla from our tax disc from the old car hubby swapped so £200 is clearing on Monday so hubby will transfer it into my account next week and I will be paying it straight into the argos card which is sitting at £390 so my aim of this month is to pay this off this month which will be a fantastic achievement so that's my target for the month
This means I will only have two credit cards left to pay
I still owe £30 to the mortgage account from the avon money but I've just got the bank account back in the black and don't want to leave myself too short this week so will pay it back in small amounts
Still due wages from two parents this week £40 from one and need to calculate what the other parent owes so hopefully I won't need to Neil into the bank this week :T
Need to take hubby's suit we got from slaters back as the seams are busting open......this started happening at the wedding so hopefully they'll just refund the suit and we will get £50 back :T again if this happens then it'll be getting put straight to the argos card
Right off to get my washing in xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -

Morning :hello:
Another long working day today working 7am til 7pm
Taking the little ones for a walk to the garden centre today for a look at all the flowers.......hoping not to spend anything there fingers crossed lol doubt it tho
Tax credits are in transferred the £30 I owed to the mortgage account and transferred £20 into my savings account as I borrowed money from it to stay afloat last weekso only £85 to put back but I will get there this month x
My little car failed its mot on Saturday if I wasn't married to a mechanic it would have cost me £900  to fix but it's only costing me £242 initially but once hubby takes back a part that's in my car I'll get a refund of £90 so all in all my car is costing me £152 to fix :T just frustrating I need to pay out the £90 initially lol but we will get it back by Friday lol xx
Calculated my other parents fees for her so I'll have £54 winging its way to me this week :T so hopefully we are back on track and recovered from all these weddings and birthdays and holidays xx thinking of starting up a fund so we aren't in this position next year which but we shouldn't have any debt this time next year :T so might not need it if that makes sense xx
Right off to get the schoolers ready for school
Back later xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -
Morning Abba
You latest diary entry sounds like you have it all under control. thank heavens you hubby could fix the car as that would have been one HUGE bill .
Am I right from reading your diary that you are a child-minder?. I am always searching for an income that I could generate from home as I have no childcare help myself. I wondered what legal hoops you had to jump through to become registered or is it just for friends?. Think I need to do some research.
Sounds like you are close to being debt free next year, same as me. I really cannot wait. It will just be so lovely to have the spare cash to build up my little savings pots. Its just too hard to find spare pennies whilst I am paying the debt.
Hope your long day at work goes by quickly xxxx0 -

Yes I'm a registered childminder in Scotland, used to childmind as well when I was living in England too which I can safely say I'm glad I'm not there anymore as the paperwork that childminders do in England is astronomical
In Scotland there is a lot of paperwork too but if you can wrap your head round it it does get easier but that's what puts a lot of people off.....not the working with kids part but the paperwork xx
I think you would do great as a childminder Steph as you live on a farm what an experience for the kids that would be x
I have 7 kids on my books and its a juggle plus I work 50 hour weeks that's not including any paperwork I do after all the kids have went home thobut I love it as I'm home for my kids, my kids get to socialise with lots of different faces and we all have fun but it's not guaranteed work but you'll know that with you hubby being self employed xx
