I know my maths were never very good but how is the OP only £2500 out of pocket when the dud cheque was for £3500? Silly point I know but just curious.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Apolgies if I'm wrong , but I don't believe it either
A possible explanation is it was posted by someone who is thinking of doing a scam and wanted to find out pitfalls/what websites offer in tracking stuff etc
What better way to set something up than by finding out 'what the enemy know'
Or have I been reading to many conspiracy websites !!!!Don't let the past become your future

and i was astounded that it was for £3500. My rent advance was for £800. I cashed the cheque in straight away as the lady seemed anxious that i send her shipper the excess money (£2700) via western union asap.
with good maths and reading it doesn`t make £2500 !!!!!!!!!!!!When things in life start to weigh heavy on your shoulders, and people all around are having a go, just smile and think.......Fxxk em!0 -

Because the given cheque is supposedly a dud so the £800 will be pulled back by the bank and the rest of the money comes out of the person bank account. the £800 will more than likely be found to be a forged or stolen cheque so this money will be debited out of the account also0
