Hello all
can anyone give me any advice; iphone packed in 6 weeks ago. O2 had none to replace it with, finally a new one is coming tomorrow but you have to give back your old phone.
They state that they won't
' replace Your Damaged Equipment
unless You have it, with the IMEI or serial
number panel, together with charger and all
other accessories provided with the
Equipment when You bought it and can
return it back to Us.'
Problem is charger packed in a few months ago, is long gone and head phones snapped so also long gone.
Am i stuffed here do you think? Not happy that its taken 6 weeks to get a new phone and now I think they'll not give me a replacement :cool:

Don't worry about it too much. It's only a standard courier who will drop off your replacement phone, they won't check whether the charger you give them matches up, they only check they have a phone (they won't check the IMEI number on your doorstep).
Just have the phone ready with any random charger you have spare in the house. Take only the phone to the door and bring out the old charger if asked for it. I have had a couple of insurance claims over the years with O2 and they have never really checked the particulars too much once the claim has been approved.0 -
If your phones still in warranty apple would have replaced the charger and headphones
.
They did with me.0
