  • You could try a little baby oil and a scraper (like one you use to scrape ice off your car) Think that tip came courtesy of kim and aggie!

People tell me Im going the wrong way..............when its simply a way of my own!
  • You could try white spirit, or baby oil. Depends on the kind of paintwork thats under them to some degree...I had an idea to try and steam them off somehow with an iron, but have not tried it!

Ive read that you can soften the glue by blasting with a hairdryer, though haven't tried it myself.

Hiya - Used to have to do this in a jewellers where people stuck the prices to ornaments and stuff! Best way we found was to dampen and scrape off the paper bit, then to get the sticky residue, pop some lighter fluid (think it was called "Swan" on a cloth and gently rub. Good as new, and we used it on some really expensive stuff so it must be ok!
  • Not very OS, but effective. The way I used to get the old seasons decals off of road rally cars without taking the paint with them - WD40. It dissolves the gum. Slowly work down from the top.
