Is your clubcard registered? We keep ours unregistered until it's full to foil their marketing activities. Obviously we haven't received any letter from them as a result.
Also given the equal value of going to both Tesco and Shell. I'd go with Shell. My company diesel Mondeo seems much happier on Shell than on supermarket fuel, doesn't splutter when you rev it from idle and seems to accelerate a little quicker too. Haven't tried BP (which according to the sticker on the fuel flap, "Ford recommends BP"*) as BP is extortionately expensive around here compared to pretty much everyone else.
*Translation: Ford were offered the biggest kickback by BP for putting a sticker in the fuel flap.0 -
I'll be moving to a different supplier as the rewards are just not good enough now... It's not like they don't make enough out of us as it is...
I don't know if you have noticed how the tesco's reward website is conveniently not working on the basket or checkout page... It's been like that for 3 days now...0 -

I rarely shop at Tesco because there isn't a store very near and a. Tesco are rubbish for food and b. their fuel is ridiculously expensive.
Not sure which Tesco's you go to but in my area they are nothing like the most expensive and even when they have a promotion on they are still amongst the cheapest in the area before the discount. 117.9 today when most others are 118.9 to 121.9.
The reduction in points means it is hardly worth going out of your way anyway but I also find that if you put in x litres at a station giving nectar points the number of points you get is less than x. I suspect you get the number of points associated with the bill minus the VAT element but I could be wrong about this.0 -
No help to the OP but maybe to others - I noticed this morning that Shell are offering 2p off per litre if you spend £5 in the shop. I'm thinking about getting milk/bread etc to qualify but will check the price of them first. Not sure if this is a national or local promotion.
I think the Morrisons voucher scheme works out at 2p per litre, or it certainly used to.
I tend to use Shell as it is one of the cheapest and my car is happiest on their fuel and I get more miles to a tankful of their stuff.
I've got the Nectar app on my phone and at the moment BP are giving triple points with that.:A0
